![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Look at guys today, they are puffy, rounded and highly disproportional. Many are even freakishly large in some muscle groups, especially the distended abdominal area. Arnold, Zane and Colombu(sp?) were dense looking and well balanced, except that their legs lagged behind most of the time. Do guys today just megadose to the point of losing quality for quantity? Could it also be a difference of steroid preference today and current stacks? I know that Arnold chose to do extremely high reps and high sets at times and even worked out twice a day. I wonder if the wide waists that we see today come from hGH abuse or the influence of powerlifting techniques on bodybuilding? Paul Dillet says that squats make your ass and hips large so he chooses to do leg press and the hack squat machine. What is the connection between bodybuilding trends and physiques? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Giantset. Good comments here. I agree, today, bodybuilders are so freakish, I wouldn't want to look like them. Back in the day, Arnold, Zane, Haney, they have awesome bodies. They still look normal, and are icons in the BB world. ------------------ IP: Logged |
