![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I found this online: source: www.graylab.ac.uk/cancernet/600716.html 3. Are there other beneficial effects of tamoxifen? [Chemical name for Nolvadex] While tamoxifen acts against the effects of estrogen in breast tissue, it acts like estrogen in other body systems. This means that women who take tamoxifen may derive many of the beneficial effects of menopausal estrogen replacement therapy, such as a lowering of blood cholesterol and a slowing of bone loss (osteoporosis). I thought that Nolva hampered gains because it reduced estrogen in the body. This article suggests that it only acts anti estrogen in breat tissue? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ok well from what I know, NOVADEX works by acting like Strogen,, It binds up the Strogen receptior sites with a very weak strogenic, so the real stronger strogen can't tag up the receptor sites. don't quote me on this I could be wrong!! IP: Logged |
