Most weight gainers are pretty much the same,it all comes down to taste and cost per calorie. wHAT e2 WAS talking about in the other post was a way to increase total calorie in a day as the guy was at a platue

Personally i like twin lab, their label claims are almost always right on, deepsquat is right in that most gainers are all the same, i just happen to like that shake. It's damn expensive but who cares.

I've used GNC's ProPerformance Weight Gainer 2200 GOLD and gained 25 pounds when I initially started lifting........it's pretty cheap too for all you guys that are on a budget like me.

hey e2 do you remember twinlabs original gainers fuel, that was the most delicious thing i ever tasted, they dont make it anymore, but it had some decent #'s in it also......and sicillian is right about the prolab nlarge,it is very good and has excellent #'s and it does not upset the stomach at all...give it a try!!

GF 2500--they still make that shit--that shit is super-high in carbs with low protein, it'll do though if you follow the advice below...GF 1000 was a better product--I like Ultimate Nutritions Massive Weight Gainer...remember these weight gainers by and large use maltodextrin or glucose polymers as their carb source and therefore may best be used post-workout...usually its a good idea to add protein powder to the weight gainer to bring up the percentage of protein to a respectsable range and then you can adjust the meal composition by adding in some flax or olive oil to make sure you get some good fats in too...basically this way you can make your own customized meal replacement for a lot less bucks!!!

Legend and E-2, a wave of nostalgia flooded over me as I read your posts--I loved the original Gainers Fuel and almost cried when it went off the market. For those who are too young to remember, it was simply named Gainers Fuel--the ones w/ the numbers came later. One of the best tasting and calorically densest products ever made.

instynct...that is exactly what I do while on stuff...i mix some whey with some of the protein factory type formulas...usually post training formula or anabolic mrp and then I throw in some gf 2500..I try to make the whole shake around 750-1000 calories and take it three times a day
