I am on a contest diet at the moment and after two low carb days I took (for the first time) some DNP. The next day I began loading carbs into the system, it is now two days of loading and I am still as flat as a pancake and my energy levels are at zero.

What gives ? I should be looking full of energy, I know DNP plays with insulin sensitivity but what is the effect of this ?

you cannot carb load while on DNP- it is impossible
DNP stops the cellular internalization of insulin- greatly hindering your bodies ability to replete glycogen.
you need to eat carbs to maintain your blood sugar levels but eating too many will just make you real hot and you will use those carbs for energy.
HOWEVER, DO NOT TRY A LOW CARB DIET ON DNP, IT WILL MAKE YOU MISERABLE- AND AT HIGH RISK OF LOW BLOOD SUGAR RELATED SIDE EFFECTS.
CARB LOADING SHOULD BEGIN ON DAY 3-4 AFTER LAST DOSE OF DNP.
PEACE
