O.k., here's my problem: I had a scare with dibeties a few year back. I just checked my blood and it was 417. SHIT!!! When I cam home from work I had 5 beers, could that have pushed it up so much? I am freaking out here. If I am dibetic, o.k., what do I take to normalize my blood? Also I am planning on joining the Air force in 2 months, if I am actually dibetic how do I hide this from them?? I am going to start checking my blood all the time now, but I fear I am. Dibetis runs in my family...mom and sister are diabetic. Please help me ut guys. Any info, no matter how small is welcomed.

thanks,

Ian88

Ian if your mom and sister are diabetic then you know how serious this illness is if you don't take care of it. SEE YOUR DOCTOR and follow his advice on this one.

Ya, listen to gamer! I'm not too sure but I do think that alcohol will increase your blood sugar level.

diabetics arn't supposed to have any alcohol. Think about it carbohydrates, sugar, yeast all have an effect on blood sugar and the insulin levels in your system.
417 is really high, man, get checked out especially if you have a family history with diabetes, This not something to screw around with.

Damn, I just checked it again and it is at 357. I am freaking out. It has never been this high. I screw around with my Mothers blood meter from time to time but it's always like 120 or so. Also I know the beer was bad but it was only 5 Miller lites. I usually never drink but did. I will be checking it all day tomarrow. I know this is a dumb question, but is there any way AS could elevate ones blood suger levels? I'm on 600 deca, 500 sus, 4 d-bols.

Quit writing posts and get to the Doc. We are not doctors or at least most of us aren't. If you really are diabetic you could pass out from all that sugar conversion. Now go to the Doc. Good Luck, Bro.

Go see a doctor!
Don`t even think about hiding it the air force, I think (and hope) that they test for diabetes.
