THE ONLY THING THAT I USED TO DO FOR MY TRAPS WAS DUMBELL SHRUGS, AND THAT DID FINE. BUT NOW THEY WILL NOT GROW ANYMORE. CAN ANYBODY GIVE ME THERE DETAILED TRAP WORKOUT. P L E A S E IP: Logged |

Rotate your hand postitions...facing in, facing out, one in one out.....also switch between dumbells and barbell....go heavy on hold the shrug for a few seconds....about all I can think of. D. IP: Logged |

Maybe just change to high reps with short brakes. I mean you can also do those upright rows ( I personnaly hate them though )Yup, just really intense high reps, 'till you feel like you got fire around your neck. IP: Logged |

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BUT I STARTED DOING THE FOLLOWING AND GOT GREAT RESULTS. 1)VERTICAL ROWS ONCE MINE STARTED GROWING I CUT BACK TO JUST 2 EXERCISES TO MAINTAIN THEM. IP: Logged |

Clean and jerk while grunting like a madman! let out a primal scream and throw the weight at the floor! Flex in the mirror repeat 10 times for 5 sets and watch them babies as well as the rest of you grow grow grow!!!

I'm lucky...I have good genetics for traps...but here is what I do.....! Start at the 120 dumbells and do as many reps as you can Drop 10 pounds to the 110's do as many reps as you can...important...no rest....just like strip sets!! Drop 10 pounds thereafter until your getting around 4 reps....do this once a week, along with your regular trap excersises...they'll grow!! Ranger IP: Logged |

dead hang cleans or clean and press. wide grip barbell shrugs seated bend over dumbell rows(bring the shoulders back,contract) heavy barbell shrugs and let them hang for a while. also with dumbells I really squeeze hard and long. I alternate some of these at every work-out. I've been deadlifting for a few years now and think that itself has helped my traps! peace. IP: Logged |

ART ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUE If your traps cant grow u might have neural blockage give ART a try. I learned about it through Poliquin. ART saved Milos Sarcive bodybuilding career without surgery.
