I don't know if your gym has one of these machines, but the best thing I have found is the Bear machine. It is a hack squat machine that you can jump with. Any kind of jumping with weight on your back should help. I increased my vertical from 20 to 28 over a summer. Calf raises with weight also helps.

Bro try this, grab a pair of dumbbells, hold them to your sides, squat down until the dumbbells almost touch the flore and jump up explosively. When you land just bend your knees to absorb the shock. Sounds dumb but my HS Football coach introduced me to these, and for me they worked wonders for improving vertical, and for explosiveniss off the line. I try to do 4x10-12 with 55lbers.

YO TREY I SEEN YOUR PIC AND U R N GOOD SHAPE.I AM 28 AND A LITTLE HEAVIER THAN WHEN I WAS 20. I AM 5'8" TALL AND COULD TAKE ONE STEP AND GRAB THE RIM ON A GOAL WHEN I WAS YOUNGER AND PLAYING EVERY DAY.I USED PLYOMETRICS TO INCREASE MY VERTICAL. IT IS HARD CARDIO JUMPING SIDE TO SIDE OVER AN ITEM UNTIL U CANT DO IT ANYMORE. DO THIS ATLEAST 3 TIMES A DAY START WITH SOMETHING ABOUT 8INCH TALL AND 10 INCHES WIDE AND I GUARANTEE IT WILL HELP IN JUST A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME.IMAGINE A SHORT WHITE BOY WITH A 36" VERTICAL

at 6' 2" 240 lbs I can dunk with 2 hands or one a whole lot of vertical leap is genetics and the ability to leave the ground explosively the polometrics are probably the best answer.

Pliometrics will do wonders. For example, box jumps, jumping back and forth over a chair side to side, jump rope, and practice jumping. Squat down as far as you can go and then explode and try to jump as high as you can. These exercises do wonders and have enabled me to dunk very easily.

another good excercise is too stand straight up and without really bending your knees jump up and keep bouncing as fast as possible this is also a good plyometric excercise.
