i just came from the dr.office and i might have to have arthroscopic surgery on my shoulder anyone ever had it done?how long was recovery and most importantly were you able to wipe your own ass.....lol seriously guys tell your tells. thanks

Been there, done that...recuperation sucked and was a lot longer than anticipated, couldn't move my arm at all for days following surgery...had my clavicle shaved down to allow room for rotator cuff and had weakness and pain in the clavicle area for a long time after, but eventually it has resolved...my shoulder is now better than it was, but I still have to watch it (actually both of them)...good luck with whatever you do and feel free to e-mail me with any questions

Ya bro, me too.. I had my right one done about ten years ago, best damn surgery I ever had done, I could't throw a soft ball over hand for about 17 years, and five days later I was able to do so with almost no real discomfort. Now my left one is acting up damn it and I'm on a cycle..I'll just take it easy...But I'm almost half way through and it does seem to be stabilizing a bit, best of luck, everyones different depending on what you need done..
