I'm at the high point of my cycle and I can only sleep about 3 hours a night. My heart just cannot seem to relax enough to rest. I know it's effecting my gains but I just can't go to sleep. It's effecting my personal and work life as well. Please help me guys! I have had 9 hrs sleep in the past 3 days- IP: Logged |

Mr. T, after changing up my routine and diet hard core, I am having the same problem. To bed late and up early because of insomnia, so this a.m. I just went to the gym instead of keeping Mr. Guns awake. Cannot get my hands on GHB though I have tried desperately. I should have picked up some valium while in ol' mex, but did not. Is melatonin legally obtained???? Also will these "drugs" slow down my metabolism since what I am trying to do is speed it up and lose fat? Mrs. Guns IP: Logged |

Rohypnol is the best And is cheap (in my part of the world) Better than GHB. But you should try first melatonin then move to stronger substances if you sleep will not be improved IP: Logged |

If you want to sleep, wake up in the morning and not feel like a med. cabinet hit you in the head then SMOKE A JOINT. You may not be into it, but prescription shit makes you feel like shit the next day. WEED WILL PUT YOU TO SLEEP LIKE A BABY. Goodluck bro i feel for ya. IP: Logged |

Hey Mrs. Guns, Don't sweat the insomnia. Some people on this board will tell you that you need 9 hours of sleep in a 24hr period for good muscle growth to take place. I disagree. What you are going through is probably due to your metabolisim reving up. Let it. Enjoy it. You already hit on the "Solution". Use the time you normaly would have spent sleeping doing somethig else that makes you feel productive. Think of it like found money. Use it for something fun! Soon enough you will even out and return to your normal sleep paterns, until then make the most of the extra time. I have had serious insomnia for the last 16 years. I sleep (on average) 5 hours out of every 24. I use this time to train, read books, write books, cook, surf the net and a hundred other things. Maybe I would be bigger if I got more sleep (hell, I'm already 275lbs) but I wouldn't have achived that 16% more living. I think its a fair trade. ------------------ IP: Logged |

The "joint" answer is not the solution for me. I pride myself on being a fairly intelligent woman and don't have any extra brain cell that I want to give up right now. As mentioned before in previous posts, I am a full-time working mother and wife who, aside from all my family and household responsibilities, also busts my tail in the gym on a daily sometimes twice daily basis. I should be falling asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow!!! I will try to enjoy all the extra time I have with no sleep to work harder in the gym. My question still needs to be answered.....is melatonin and rehypnol legally obtained? Mrs. Guns IP: Logged |

Mrs Guns I'm not positive but I don't believe it's used in the U.S. you can head back to Mexico and get it pretty cheap. One of my ex's loved the stuff since she worked odd hours and had problems sleeping. if you go to Mexico to get it becareful bringing back across cause from I've heard is that it carries a stiffer penality then alot of the more hardcore drugs Keep Pumping IP: Logged |

GHB GHB GHB Make sure its real though, not some fucking alcohol and ratpoison. G will put you to sleep like a fucken baby and when you wake up, it'll tell your body to release more growth hormone. Its the best drug for JuiceMonkeys. LaytaH. IP: Logged |

Mrs. Guns, Melatonin is easily obtainable in any health food store or supermarket vitamin isle. Try 3mg 45min before you want to go to sleep. Also, try to hit the pillow the same time everynight. That, combined with the melatonin should "reset" your circadian rythms and get you back to a more normal regiment. Word of caution--too much melatonin(>6mg/night for me) can lead to very disturbing dreams, not really nightmares but just really strange dreams. I wouldn't touch the roofies, however. Be wise on your decision. I've been experiencing the same thing. Last night I only slept 3 hours. Anyway, I did some research and found that when experiencing insomnia you should let it run it's course. 'Cause taking certain products will only delay the inevitable. You're not sleeping for a reason. Stress or substances your body's rejecting, recuperating from or whatever other reason. Like he said, just make use of that extra time. I agree with Big Nate and Moe Dank but I would stay away from the prescription stuff unless you have great self control because they are really easy to get hooked on. melatonin works for me it is already in the body and puts you to sleep pretty good, so does GHB. IP: Logged |

I agree about nature taking it's course but I have to get up at 5am though so I have to sleep at 9pm 10pm latest. GHB works like a charm - if I don't get in bed before it kicks in I fall asleep on the floor / chair and stay there. If you have problems getting hold of it - it is possible to procure the ingredients and make it yourself. I am in the UK so not sure about US laws pertaining to GBL (a reagent needed for GHB manufacture) IP: Logged |

GHB or Furanone (GBL) Ignore those idiots suggesting prescription drugs. First of all- you do not want to strain your liver or system anymore than you are- secondly- any prescription sleeping ais or pain reliever are going to have their own side effects plus make you hung over. Herbs don't work but ghb or gbl lweave no toxicity in your system and make you sleep like a log. IP: Logged |

Go to the local health food store and ask for Valerian Root. Works great! It is stronger than melatonin(which only puts you to sleep for a short time) and less harmful that OTC medications and opiates. Don't do opiates unless you want to do em forever.. very addicting IP: Logged |

There is a relatively new drug out called Sonata. It really knocks people out for 8-9 restful hours of sleep and usually no hangover effect. The package insert say to take it right before laying down or while in bed. I have heard of people taking it in their kitchen and walking to their room, falling down before they get there and having to crawl the rest of the way. It will make you sleep... I love the wild sex solution, but it's the wild sex that keeps me up late at night anyway!!!! And Mr. Guns doesn't have a problem falling asleep, he just doesn't feel rested either in the morning. If anyone suggests we refrain from the wild sex solution, I am definintely leaving the board forever!!!! j/k I am leaning more toward GHB, just having a hard time finding it. I have been taking 600 mcg of melatonin and 800 mg of magnesium and I have been sleeping like a log, and this is from an insomniac from way back. I can't remember why or who told me that magnesium helps. IP: Logged |

I HAVE THE SAME SLEEPING PROBLEMS AS EVERYONE ELSE, FOR THE MOST PART IT IS JUST IN YOUR HEAD I THINK, IF NOT TYLENOL PM OR SOME SLEEPING PILLS USUALLY JUST DO IT FOR ME.
