when my girl helped me inj. last night i had her pull the plunger out to make sure there wasn't blood, she did it and i looked to(as well as i could, my neck doesn't turn far enough) and saw air bubbles, but when i pulled it out it bled like crazy. why? tri ------------------ IP: Logged |

You probably went through a vein. You weren't injecting into one, you just passed through one with the needle. Causes a bleeder when you pull the needle out. D. IP: Logged |

I have bleeders all the time. As long as you aren't injecting directly into the vein, you should be fine. -Christian IP: Logged |

is there any chance of it getting back into your vein/blood stream? i doubt it, but that's a good question. i've seen it asked several times on this board and all the guys says it's not a big deal if you bleed after you pull the pin out. so i wouldn't worry about it too much. but maybe someone can give you a better answer. i'll give ya a bump i would like to know too. you should be fine, you dont need to worry about the gear getting into the vien, but you do sometimes have to worry about the vien bleeding internally, it can cause a little solid lump and sometimes goes away and sometimes you need to go to the doc, but no big deal, just tell him you did a B-12 shot and you think you nicked a vien, and he will prescribe something to dissipate the lump IP: Logged |

Will the vein heal itself, or will the doc need to sew it up. I don't have health insurance, so this is a big deal to me. Does anyone know of cheap health insurance? IP: Logged |

That happens to me alot. Never have had a problem with it. If your blood pressure is up because of your AS then it can make it more pronounced as well. IP: Logged |

Several years ago, before I learned the proper method, I injected myself in or very close to a vein. The result was immediate; increased heart rate, I broke out in a sweat, I thought I was going to pass out! That lasts about 3-5 minutes. What a waste of gear! Check out this site.
