Lads;
I've posted in the past that injections are easy and that the virgins should get over their fears and ram the needle home. The obvious consequence of hubris is nemesis. I just fucked up a thigh injection and am paying the price.

I started with a dumb choice of needle. Because I am spacy I ended up with 25g 5/8" needles. I took one out, loaded up the 3cc barrel with T200, and instead of sitting down to inject, for the first time in years I just figgured I'd stick it in while standing.

Everything felt fine until I had about 1 1/2 cc in, then I felt a cramping feeling in my quad, so I hurried up, pushed the plunger hard and rammed the rest home. It HURT, sweled up immediately to the size of a gumball and left an horrific bruise.

I applied pressure with an alcohol soaked pad and moved my leg around trying to get some blood flowing. After a few min. the selling was gone, but I had the most awful looking bruise and it hurt like the mother of all charlie horses.

My question is this (for anybody still reading), was the problem from the small guage of needle and the high pressure I exerted, or from the tension within the muscle tissue from standing during the injection? I would like to know so I don't repeat this unpleasant experience.

I think it is from forcing the stuff in too fast. I have heard of other stories like this and that was the culprit. In fact, Ive heard so many stories like this that I go really, really slow. Like half a minute for 3cc's. Better safe than sorry-

i have gotten a bruis from injecting it is because you inject it to fast. i had to use 5/8 needles at one point and they didnt cause bruising on me so i would think that it is from injecting to fast

I had the same thing happen to me, and it was administered by a doctor !

What is it with these doctors and bad injections ?!?

its twofold, the muscle needs to be relaxed and you need to be patient and push slowly

Gents;
Thanks. Shot 2 cc's about an hour ago, no trouble. Sat down, relaxed, pushed slow and everything went fine. Sounds kind of like a bowel movement now that I re-read it. Thanks again gents.
