From the "Anabolic Advantage" Halotestin (fluxymestevone) This 17 alpha alkylated oral steriod is seldom used by non-competitive athletes. Halo is a mildly anabolic, very androgenic steriod. While size gains are minimal, strength gains are often very significant. Bodybuilders use this drug primarily to promote muscle hardness and keep strength and size while dieting and preparing for a contest. Power lifters are able to increase strength to compete without the ecessive weight gain that may push them out of a desired weight class, This a very toxic drug.
