Hey bros, I was wondering..Do the domestic postal inspectors in the U.S. just randomly open up packages and check inside? I mean I know customs does..but do the domestic inspectors? In other words..what are the chances a domestic package would get siezed and send the FEDS over to your house for a visit? Thanks alot bros!

YES! THE POST OFFICE WORK HAND AND HAND WITH THE DEA AND ATF THEY GO TO DIFFERENT SITES AND PICK A SECTION OF PACKAGES..MAY IT BE OVER NIGHT, 2 DAY, OR THREE DAY DELIVERY....

THIS DOES HAPPEN THIS IS WHY ANY TIME YOU MAIL ANYTHING IT SHOULD BE DONE JUST AS SOME OF THE SMARTER OUT OF COUNTRY MAILER DO!

Yup... HOT spots are mail going from california to the East coast, not just because of gear but because a lot of other contraband comes in thru CALI at most they got dogs sniffing packages for::::: animals, fire works, and drugs such a coke and weed

Thats true but, if you don't live in the formentioned states don't think you're not taking a chance. We all role the dice with situations like that.

Yeah they will... just mail it smart like BIZ says. Consider the huge volume of domestic mail though -- the chances are small even that they will check your package, let alone pick it out of a sea of them to open up and find illegal drugs in.

I have had stuff taped all over me and been sniffed by dogs at customs (not in the US) and the dog just kept on goin...

I guess these dogs have to be trained for certain substances and AS are not high on the hit list...

Yup you are right, dogs can't pick out the gear, I don't know where that rumor came from about dogs smelling the oil in gear,
