i have heard that testicular shrinkage causes impotence but that doesn't make sense to me.

sex drive is a male characteristic. that is why the prescribe testosterone to those with a low sex drive (old women mainly). it increases sex drive.

so isn't sex drive controlled by androgen levels? and not testicular shrinkage. deca is a low androgen drug and might cause impotence & indifference to sex. anadrol & test are high androgen drugs and increase sex drive. are the low androgens of deca & equipoise to blame for the lack of sex drive, since your body isn't producing androgens anymore and you are basically having less androgens than you are used to?

also, this would explain how clomid ends deca dick. assume i am right, that steroids like equipoise & deca shut down natural test production and replace it with low androgen forms of test. then there are 2 ways to get your androgen level up and end the impotence.

1. combine your drug with a high androgen drug like test or dianabol.

2. take clomid to restart your body's natural production of androgens.

since a steroid cycle will replace your natural production of androgens. if you use a weak androgen it might give your body less androgens than your body is used to, versus more as you would get with testosterone or dianabol.

anyway, this makes more sense to me. low androgen levels cause impotence, and taking either a high androgen drug or restarting yoru bodies androgen production (clomid) will rid you of this. anyone who has had life experiences counter to this can respond. i don't want to give bad advice.

well that is true in theory, however lately I have begun to question the scientific methodology behind judging the levels to which steroids are androgenic- for instance anadrol is not very androgenic-most of its negative effects are related to the fact that it is progestenic the same goes for miblerone-whose activity is almost entirely progestenic and yet it is considered to be one of the strongest androgens. However in some studies I have seen anadrol listed as having almost no androgenic component- What I am wondering is whether their are two systems that have been in use one where all components are separated and the other where progestenic effects are lumped into the androgenic category.

BTW-psychological factors play an extremely important role in male sexual function as well.- of course homone levels and rations effect psychological health as well

It`s controlled by androgen levels!
In a non juicer that`s the T that your gonads are producing. In a juicer it is the gear,(when your natural T has gone down).
Too bad some AS are not that androgenic, Clomid keeps your own test going during a cycle, no impotence.

Beg to differ about the magical effects of clomid. I took one clomid EOD throughout, and 100mg a day after for a week, then 50mg a day for another week and I still got deca dick. My nuts were even back to their normal size when this occured, and I did stack my deca with test and tapered off with some primo. The only thing that helped was shooting some primotest, I have not had a problem since, Deca dick is very real.
