![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ok... ive been doing this whole body building thing for about three years, give or take. Now...the week before start my cycle i am screwin around with this guy at work and he wanted to arm wrestle (hell who could pass it up!!!) so i did... I pulled a tendon in my arm and now im so fucked... i cant do my weekly bicept training at all... the pain it freekin incredible. now im soaking it in ice and taking asprin. i really dont know what else to do. hopefully im better by next week so i can start my cycle on sunday. if not im delayed another week i suppose. no more arm wrestling for me!!! dumb dumb dumb. just thought i would vent. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I would just get plenty of rest and wait until you're ready to fully utilize the AS. It does suck, but sh*t happens sometimes. I used to be a big-time softball player before I started lifting, and I've basically given it up. Too easy to hurt yourself, and weight training is more important to me now. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() BLKLOTUS, I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS I TYPE THIS. HAPPENED THREE WEEKS AGO IN A BAR WHEN I GOT CHALLANGED TO ARM WRESTLE. IT WAS COMMING GOOD BENCHED MONDAY NIGHT NO REAL PROBLEM. LAST NIGHT ARM WORKOUT IT'S AS SORE AS EVER. THE PAIN HITS ALL OF A SUDDED IT FEELS LIKE A SHARP STABBING KNIFE. I KNOW PRETTY FRIGGIN STUPID!!!!! AND IT'S NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME FROM ARM WRESTLING. ASPRIN WILL HELP WITH THE SWELLING AND THE PAIN. TODAY I BOUGHT GLUCOSAMINE SULFATE 500MG 135 TABS COST $10.49 TO HELP WITH THIS AND ALL MY OTHER INJURIES. (WAL-MART) HEAL QUICK MAN! P.S. ICEING IT DOWN HAS ALSO HELPED. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Naproxen Sodium (Aleve) is much better than asprin for pain and swelling. It's the same substance as brand name Naprosin, which is a prescription anti-inflamatory. I took some a few years ago when I sprained my ankle really bad. I then sprained my thumb and it hurt for a couple weeks, but it never swelled! I take 2 or 3 of the over-the-counter stuff. They're 220 mg. each. Just make sure to have food in your stomach when you take them because they're pretty rough on an empty stomach. The Doctor IP: Logged |
