Got this out of my morning newspaper in L.M. Boyd column: The biceps of the GI Joe doll have become bigger in the last 30 years. If scaled up to the size of a grown man, they'd now tape measure an absurd 26 inches. lol. And they say Barbie gives women an inferiority complex! ghans IP: Logged |

I don't think GI Joes are still around. Now kids aren't supposed to play with toys that have guns so they go for Mighty Morphine Power Rangers and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Sad really. I loved the show when I was little and learned a lot about the military in the process. (Names of planes, Special Forces, etc.) I even thought about collecting them to give to my son when I get older. I still have a few in the basement- IP: Logged |
