Is growth hormone crap or is it's cost or availability the reason it isn't used more? With access to the right equipment it is not too difficult to produce a good quanitity of high quality, pharm grade "bathtub" GH. Is there a market for such a product if it were to be available? Input appreciated.

I would think that the chemical make-up of synthetic HGH would be far too complicated for "bathtub" production.

I would rather pay an arm and a leg for HGH than lose an arm and a leg because the HGH was not made correctly.

It's actually not as complicated as you think. Anybody with access to the right equipment a medical school or high tech university biochem laboratory can theoretically do it. Growth hormone is a protein, and the cellular machinery of all organisms build proteins out of DNA blueprints. DNA is simply a series of nucleic acids (bases). You take a string of DNA that codes for growth hormone (a protein). This can be constructed base by base (hard to do) with the right equipment, or pulled out of a DNA library (easy to do). Then you stick this piece of DNA into a bacteria like e-coli. This is safe and fairly easy to do. Then you put the organisms in a bio-reactor, feed them and watch them multiply by the billions while they fill their little bodies with GH that their cellular machinery is constructing. Then you harvest them for their proteins. This about as "layman" as I can put while still explaining how it's done. This type of operation, once the DNA is put into a bacteria, can easily be carried out in a private household.

In answer to the original question, I have found that GH can give dramatic improvements on a physique. Used synergistically with other hormones I have seen people gaining 10+ pounds in a week, while lowering bodyfat levels by a number of percent, with no dietry changes or water retention. Think for a second what 10 pounds of steak looks like, THAT'S ALOT OF MEAT !!!

Cost to benifit ratio seems to be best around 6IU every other day.

It sounds like you know your shit. And yes there would be a market for if. Ive talked to a lot of people that wish they could get thier hands on HGH. But some of the problems are price,finding ligit shit and it has to be kept under a certain Temp or it will spoil.
So mail order could be a problem unless you overnighted it in a cold compact. Id be interested to hear more on the subject though.

Chemdaddy, if you have authorization and access to the equipment and necessary information on the DNA strand for GH. And could produce it with a low profile with good quality [sterility]. Then yeah, you could make some good money of a 'bathtub' batch providing you know the right audience to sell to. One of the reasons it is not as popular is because it doesn't have the same reputation as AS do as an anabolic. MOST of the people using AS don't know what the fuck they're doing, but it's still a big market because everybody wants to look bigger, and everybody knows that steroids are anabolic. On the other hand... only the elite BB'ers know about GH and how effective it is... so it's a smaller market, there aren't groups of teenagers getting together deciding to try some GH to supplement their workouts -- plus there's a smaller supply of the stuff.

Thanks for the input everybody. Although I have access to the equipment and DNA, I haven't figured out a feasable way to ship it without letting it spoil. It's not like I can personally drive around the country with a refrigerator full of the stuff plugged into my cigarette lighter. I am very encouraged by your input. I'm also glad to see Joker learned a thing or two about procaryotic biology tonight. Educate and get huge everyone.

yes gh does strenghten and thicken tendons and legaments. I have been thinking about using it in smaller doeses to help my tendonites. Anyone tried anything like this? I feel like I need to learn alot more about it before I would venture into larger doses. Gobler if you have any tips such as doses, what to expect, and side effects, when you get the time shoot me an e-mail!

I did a search for info on GH and found a site that touched on it that seemed pretty reliable. I am trying to remember what it was because I lost the paper I had it written down on. I didn't pay much attention to it then because I really hadn't even considered GH because I heard it was so dangerous. Let me know if you find out any usefull info. as well

i'm getting ready to start a gh cycle and have been busting my ass to inform myself as i will have to buy it very last minute. thought i was going to have to buy it the same day i found out it was available to me. anyway, the recipe he is talking about sounds a lot like the shit that is being sold now as a chewable tablet and a few nose sprays for $49.99 for a 30 day supply. the time, ingredients, and effort it takes to make somatropin takes many days, access to all sorts of hard to obtain items, and for a student to have access to that kind of equipment that long without anyone else discovering the set up, well it seems very unlikely. but who knows? maybe he's on to something.

GH is great - if it works for you.I've done it and I love it,but my buddy did the same thing and got little results. It is also expensive if you take it correctly. If you are paying more than $450 for the 126iu Serano kit then your hookup is not as good as you think!!
