Hey bro's help out a fellow meat head. I'm three weeks into a cycle and my elbow/ tendon is on fire when I train. What can I do. I had to skip bi's today after chest I could barely use my arm. I think I strained it last fri. doing shoulders or tri's. The pain is real intense when the tendon is aggravated but if I rest it it's ok with in about an hour. I don't want this to affect my gains but what should I do? Will anti inflameatory's help? Will those mess up the juice? Also when I sleep at night my hands and arms keeping falling asleep is this normal??? Thanks! ------------------ IP: Logged |

sounds to me like you just overworked your tendons and did some damage. You probably have a severe case of tendonitis. Ice it 3x a day, start taking an anti-inflamatory but if your on the juice be careful most anti inflamatories are hard on the liver. There was a post on here earlier that talked about a rub on anti-inflamatory called diclofenac. I'm not sure of its exact use though, so look into it. Correct me if im wrong anyone but an anti-inflamatory should not work on your liver if applied in this manner. Also change your workout for a while and avoid altogether the lifts that aggrevate it. I've had problems with this for years and it still comes back at the drop of a hat so fix it now if you can. Good luck!!!!!! IP: Logged |

Definately go with ice. Buy some elbow wraps and wear them in all pressing movements. Change you reps!! go with a weight that gives you 10-15 reps, if it still hurts go 15-20 reps. If you continue to train heavy ie:low reps 4-8 it will never heal. I had a very similar prob with alot of my joints, but now after a week of high reps/lower weight I am fine. LP IP: Logged |

I had the same problem and I went to the doctor.. I might be spelling it wrong, but I have (probably what you have)urnal neuropathy. Its your bicep, or forearm muscle pushing against the urnal nerve causing pain and probably the loss of feeling in your pinky and ring finger when you sleep. you have to tape a towel to the inside of your elbow when you sleep so you can't bend your arm completely while sleeping.. this will help the pain... oh, and take a week off or else your never gonna stop hurtin... sorry for the bad news IP: Logged |

I know the ice is a definite necessity. I know that the anti- inflammatory Cataflam is a wonder drug as I played a whole season of basevall with a torn laberum in my shoulder and that shit got me through till end of season surgery. It is hard on your liver though so I can't really tell you much accept that it works very well and usually within ten days. Maybe this short time would make it acceptable. Ask e2 or macro what they think. If your NOT currently on any orals than I know it can't be worse than addind dbol to your cycle. Hope this helps. IP: Logged |

I have the tendonitis and the arms, mostly hand, constantly falling asleep. Its is always worse when cycling, esp. with any 17AAs. Arms get more wkout than any other bodypart so they would be more prone to any muscular and circulatory problems. When i know ive done something right to cause growth to start, thats when the numbness gets stronger. i feel like sometimes aches through my arms and sometimes pulsing aches. At night i cant find a f*kn place to put my arms that they dont tingle. I have one theory that the thickening of the blood caused by AS makes this worse for some. IP: Logged |
