I don't like AS being illegal anymore than you guys do but if you don't like the laws get out and vote. Your State legislatures and Congress (US) are the ones who outlaw AS, not the Police. So why is there all this bitching about how the Police are out to get us? It's their job to enforce laws! It is actually a felony in the US if an officer see's a crime commited and does not act. Do you think an officer is going to lose his job so you can grow big muscles? The problem is not the Cops, it's the laws! IP: Logged |

BULLSHIT, THE LAWS ARE A BIG PROBLEM, BUT THE COPS ARE A BIGGER ONE. I KNOW PERSONAL FRIENDS THAT HAVE RELATIVES THAT ARE COPS FROM CHICAGO. THEY TOOK THE SERGEANTS EXAM, PASSED IT, AND DIDN'T GET THE POSITION BECAUSE THEY WERE THE WRONG COLOR. AFRICAN- AMERICANS TOOK THE TEST, FAILED IT AND WERE GIVEN THE JOB. IF I WERE BLACK I WOULD BE INSULTED BY THIS TREATMENT. POLITICIANS ARE SAYING BLACKS ARE NOT SMART ENOUGH TO COMPETE WITH WHITES ON AN EQUAL BASIS AND THE BLACKS ARE NOT FIGHTING THEY ARE EXCEPTING THIS BIASED TREATMENT. THEREFORE THERE IS ALOT OF ANIMOSITY. WHO DO THEY TAKE IT OUT ON? THEN THERE'S THE LITTLE GUY THAT GOT HIS ASS KICKED IN SCHOOL. GIVE HIM A BADGE AND HE'S A TOUGH GUY. THEN THERE'S THE GUY THAT ISN'T MAKING THE INCOME HE THINKS HE SHOULD. THIS CREATES MORE ANIMOSITY. WHO DO THEY TAKE IT OUT ON? YOU GUESSED IT. COPS TAKE A/S THEY DRINK AND DRIVE AND THE OTHER COPS LOOK THE OTHER WAY. I'M 6'4" 265lbs. I BOXED GOLDEN GLOVES. I PLAYED HOCKEY FOR MY COLLEGE TEAM AND SEMI-PRO WITH THE CHICAGO SAINTS. Hey there are officers on this board and they contribute just like everyone else. No one should be guilty by association. Its just like if someone calls us meat head or he just lifting to compensate for small dick and they know nothing about us or our character. There is good and bad in every group and you can't hate them all. Yes I know of some officers that have bad attitudes and morals, but then again I know some that would give you the shirt off their back and have outstanding integrity. No matter how you slice it gear is against the law and thats the chance we all take. So if you get caught there is no one to blame but yourself. I think both of you made good points. I think that we definately need police in this crazy world, and I think that most of the bro's here would agree, its just that in this day and age many cops don't act like its just a job anymore, and they make it more personal. There are so many crooked and dirty police out there today that its scary. And I realize that they can get fired for not stoping somthing illegal but you shouldn't arrest good people for doing somthing that is not wrong. Just because your government tells you somthing is wrong does not make it so. The problem is with both the police and the government. Look how many governments of history past have told there people something that is totally wrong, including our own. Everyone just needs to be responsible for thereself. Get out there and vote!!! I also do not agree with all the cop bashing. So there are a few bad apples, in the lot, then again we body builders have a few bad apples as well. Don't blame the cops because you got caught doing something you were not supposed to do. If we wanna play the game we have to be willing to pay the price. So Saint, going by that logic, some officers are racist and some Cops (Oh my God) use connections to get to be Sergeant so all Cops must be bad and we must all beat them like tent stakes? I went to a bad dentist once, he told me I had a cavity and I didnt. Should I hate all dentists for the rest of my life? Come on Saint, there are bad people in every profession. Ive been screwed by Cops just like everyone else. BTW, it's harder for a white male to get a job as Police Officer in most States because of affirmitive action. Thats not prejudice? A white male not getting a job because of his skin color? Sounds like prejudice to me- PS Using the race card as an excuse for not succeeding in life makes me sick. i totally agree with chesty Most cops are good guys doing the public some good, they shouldnt be bashed because there are law enforcement agencies that are set to deter steroid smuggling and use it is there job, it isnt like they woke up one day and said "i think i will go bust some juice heads today" common IP: Logged |

I use to talk shit about the police too, but I was set up and had my growroom raided by the coolest fucker you would ever want to meet. He may have got me with five felonies, but he did his job and never once looked down on me for what i was doing. True some just like to kick your ass, but most are pretty good people. Look at it from there point of view, the public is a bunch of fucking idiots and how would you like dealing with the scum of the earth all day every day. I agree with the last few post Cops for the most part are good hard working people. They get into the profession because they care. However, there of course are some real phucking ass holes out there. Give them a gun and a badge and look out. If you think about it we have egotistical big mouths in all walks of life. Ain't that right Saint! "I'm 6-04 275lbs Im this Im that". who gives phuck no wonder you've had problems. I want to arrest/set you up and I haven't even met your ass. I'm a little hard on cops sometimes. Yeah, there are some cool ones out there, but then again, there's always a rambo in every bunch too. Or should I rather say an adolf in every bunch. Its because they're in a position of authority and have alot more responsibility than the average joe, so they're more accountable too. I Live in Quebec and we have the 5th most violent police in the World. I see people smoking pot on the streets during the day and I can walk into a swingers club at night. We have one of the lowest crime rates in North America. The cops look past the petty harmless crimes here and concentrate on what's really important...giving traffic tickets. Come to Vegas and see how bad cops can be. I've only had a few traffic tickets but I've witnessed how bad they treat juveniles. It makes me sick seeing big cops with tight shirts beating and harrassing juveniles.METRO is always in the news. Everytime a cop shoots someone there is a hearing and they always get off. Jocko, this topic is on the board because if you do not like AS being illegal you should do more about it than whine. Again, the US Congress and State legislatures make laws, not Cops. If the AS laws were not on the books they would not be enforced. I think it is silly to blame the Police for doing their job. Listen guys I may piss a lot of you off but, I am sorry. I went to college 4 years in hopes of becoming a state trooper, but within these 4 years I changed my mind completely. Reason being, "ALL COPS ARE THE SAME." I know some of them start out good but give them time, they will change. I have been around a lot of troopers and they all talk about the same things, getting their names in the papers for some big drug bust, how dumb the last"fuck up" was that they pulled over, or which "bitch" they are fucking. It doesn't make sense to make a generalization of all officers by the actions of a few. I know I am not a dumb bodybuider that flips out in roid rage all the time. But a minority of bodybuiders create this myth that we all are like that, and the media runs with it.
