About six weeks ago, I decided to modify my training program. On my squat, I cut back on weight and dropped all the powerlifting equipment to focus on leg development. I figured my legs would grow wickedly on this program, squatting 3 times a week at around 50 - 60% of max weights. Well, the program has worked. I did 500/10 narrow stance, deep squats (no gear), ass to the floor, but I noticed something alarming. The pace at which may rear-end has grown is astounding! This is not good. My ass looks like two pigs fighting under a blanket. What the hell should I do? Peace. | ||

yo, us big squaters frequently have this problem. i love squats, i love the burn i get, i love the pain, i love going down farther than anyone has ever seen with 525 lbs, but i hate the ass growth. therefore, i left my beloved squats. i only do them from time to time, when i'm depressed to bring my spirits up. i stick with narrow stance leg press, and quad ext. if you wnat a squat, do hack, sissy, or front, but stay away from conventional. i feel your pain |
