Just a friendly piece of advice for all the newcomers out there. Unfortunately a lot of people are now out of the business which has been followed by more coming in. Are the real or are they scammers? I dont know but check with the moderators, vets and refs provided not just the refs but also the vets and or mods. Dont be impatient and jump into the first thing you see. When something looks to good to be true, it probably is. Peace ------------------ E2's Steroid Pictures Pictures of many different drugs. Iron_Game, very good advice, but consider this scenario: (the following is all hypothetical. I am in no way implying that anyone is a source.) We will use you, Iron_Game, as an example. Say I wanted some gear, I didnt have a source, but you... being the nice guy that you are decide to help me out and get me the gear. Now, since you arent a source, nobody can verify your services. This doesnt mean you are scammer... you know what I mean? Again, anyone who reads this, I am not implying that Iron_Game is a source, it was all hypothetical, and used to get my point across.

quote: hehe If I decided to help you out and out of the kindness of my heart decided to send you some products you require then I would be committing a criminal activity and could be prosecuted for it. The moral of the story: I am not that kind, nor am I that stupid If I did decide to do this then it would make me a source. If you can trust someone enough to order from them without doing a source check then you are living on a fine line Peace [This message has been edited by The_Iron_Game (edited March 28, 2001).]

I understand you. Just because a mod or a vet hasn't heard of a certain source doesn't make the guy a scammer. However, one must still remain very cautious. Maybe ask around on several boards. If nobody gives any bad news, then you might want to run a small test order. Lets say about $50 to $100, or whatever you can afford to potentially lose. Personally, I don't like to lose money so I'd keep it towards the $50 mark. ------------------

Very good point ORCHITIS, if you have any doubts in your mind about the legitimacy of someone then place a small test order. Also remember that if someone refuses a small order and insists upon a minimum order, unless they are very well trusted, take the hint.

Gentleman its a safeguard. Would you hire a builder to build you a house that has no references? Or would you check into someone established with security and references. To argue every little detail would be insane. There are exceptions to every rule, to keep it simple: 1 in 100 sources or nice guys without references IS a true good guy - so 99/100 are scammers. Limit your risk - I don't see the argument there. Do the checks, and make sure they ref's are real by CHECKING them out. ------------------ For a good time click here: Search and Profiles (300Kleens Board)

Be careful what you post on other boards. Some boards allow open source postings. MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET YOUR SOURCE'S PERMISSION BEFORE YOU PLASTER THEIR NAME ACROSS A DISCOUSSION BOARD. Some sources don't want to go to jail and know the risks. Others are either from out of the country or just don't care. Also, not everything that seems too good to be true is not true. If a source checks out ok and there are no complaints, that means that he just has an awsome deal on a product. For instance, you may see primo at $20 per amp from one guy and $3 per amp from another guy. Seems too good to be true, but if someone wants to get rid of some primo real fast, you may find these prices. -Stew

That's all well and good, provided you have a source to check up on. What if you are new to the board (like me) and don't know where to start. Obviously there is no one posting sources because that would be stupid and risky. Someone steer me in the right direction. Just an observation, don't most people know that you will do a test first? So why wouldn't they be good on the test and then scam you on the big order?

IG, I did not discredit what you had said. I was merely enriching your statement by providing an example of how a legit guy may have prices that are "too good to be true."

there are so many legit sources.you just need to find the ones that have been doing it for years and have had no real problems with there customers.if you look around you will find names of sources that many people used with success.if you here one complaint about a source look elsewhere.NEVER buy from these new guys trying to sell gear you will 98% of the time lose your money.ive personally never been scammed because ive made sure that they were legit before sendind any money

WHAT IS A SOURCE? are they wellsprings of knowledge? NOPE- very often they dont know jack about gear- there are some exceptions Are they legit? well that depends on what legit means, if you mean do they sell gear then sometimes tha answer is yes, if you mean will they eventually Scam me- the answer is almost always YES. WHAT? ALMOST, Every legit source will at one time or another SCAM, BURN, or CHEAT their customers. WHY? quick easy money, they got burned or scammed, or their shipment was seized, etc, etc, etc just my opinion ------------------

most good sources will let you do a test order they will waive the min. b/c you have never used them if they won't i would just move on ..

I don`t think EVERY source will eventually turn scammer, but alot do I have been told. Just not good business if you plan on staying in business, one burned client can be the finish of a source. There are good ones out there, very good ones, but you have to do your homework. ------------------

One source charges twice as much as another source. One source is a selective scammer. One source is an outright scamming piece of shit. One source is very professional, helpful and trustworthy. As I.G. said it's homework, homework, homework.Oh yeah! And a little patience thrown in as well.

I remember the first time I purchased some dbol. I paid 30 equivalent of $45 for 100 Thais, now after doing some homework I can get 1000 for a little more than 70. PS I am not going to provide anyone with sources, I will however let you know if the one you know is good or not. Peace

Just bear in mind, often a scammers will build up trust by sending you smaller orders. When you place a fairly large one all of a sudden they don't send.
