This is related to bbuilding but isn't. I am basically thinking about taking aldactone (spiro) orally 50mg a day to fight hairloss, and I NEED TO KNOW if it will cause a loss of muscle mass? YES there are some people that actually do this, and have excellent results combined with oral minoxidil. Keep in mind I'm not juicing also, just straight up aldactone. I know it'a an antiandrogen but I believe that it does not effect serum test levels, it only blocks the androgen receptors. I really need someone who is well educated to answer this. I really hope that it won't cause muscle atrophy!! can someone help?     | ||

i read in a physicians desk reference that it causes (or can cause that is) gyno in long term use because of it's antiandrogenic properties. | ||

I was aware of the gyno, fortunately it is reversible after u stop taking it.

aldactone is easly found... it is excellent to use in the last week before a show..for what you mentioned..never heard of that | ||

It will cause loss of sex drive just like Finasteride. |
