not simple but the trick is to make sure you am and mid day is filled with the right amount of carbs. chances are your not eating enough carbs early and your body is craving them late. this happened to me until i ate carbs every other meal until dinner than after dinner stopped all carbs and changed to fiber carbs. also ice water helps the craving.

I rarely eat crap food, like ice cream, candy, and so on... If I do, it is very rare, but for some reason, when I try to cut, I get cravings for that shit all the time. I know it is psychological, you want what you can't have, even if you never really wanted it in the first place.

it was hard to adjust without the carbs but you will.....no carbs at night...no reason for it!!! the main thing is to keep your carbs at the right amount and keep them steady so you do not spike....harder done than said but it is like anything else you get into a routine and it is not that hard after a while....throw in some tuna and other sources of protien or you will get sick and tired of chicken!

Yeah bro, this is the story of my life. Good news though, soon your body will get used to it and you won't crave carbs or sweets for that matter that much at all. Basically, your body is simply craving something sweet. To combat this, I personally drink diet soda, or crystal light. I also will eat sugar-free jello. An entire box of that is like 50 cals or something. Artificial sweeteners are something like 300 times sweeter than sugar. Also if you aren't already, try adding some ECA. This helps curb your appetite as well as your cravings for carbs(sugars). It sucks but disipline is the key.
Good luck.

You can also practically eat as much green veggies as you want (broccoli, spinach) These are both high in fiber, iron, and vit. C and they will help fill you up when you are still hungry. Your body burns more cals digesting these than the actual cals they contain.

Get some good BCAA'a, they worked great for me when I went on a strict Atkins diet and was craving carbs out the yin-yang.

What I do is mainly eat all my carbs early in the day and pop an ECA in the early evening, which is usually the time I start to get hungry and crave carbs more. This helps me get through the evening with no carbs and by the time I'm coming down off ECA its time for bed, then bam you wake up and eat some carbs

Sorry, bro. What I meant to say was MCT Oil, or Medium Chain Triglycerides and not BCAA's. My mind must be totally shot! Seriously, that stuff helped me out a lot when I was on a strict carb-less diet and I was craving carbs. hth
