Everytime I am on cycles I get numb arms and cant even feel them. It happens eveytime at night. I will wake up and my arm is dead and cant even move or feel it for about a minute. I have seen a post like this before and some say it counld be a nerve being pinched but that cant be it because it only happens while on cycles. What could it be.

Yeah, I have that even off cycles. I think that laying on the back doesn't let the blood flow properly, or sometething. Try sleeping on your side. This helps me.

i get it pretty much every day....i went to my doc a couple years ago...he said it was nothing...if not irritating but nothing to worry about....just a pinched nerve up by your shoulder...as long as it goes away when you wake up and move it a little...no worries

IF you sleep with your arms over your head, you are much more prone to this.

This points in many ways to sholuder stress.

Are you doing behind-the-neck shoulder presses? Thay SUCK and are dangerous.

Trust me, watch what you do with your shouders, they are always a structral weekpoint for bodybuilders, and this symptom is an early one of irritation around that area.

I get it to almost every night. I think it is just that you arms are all pumped up and when you sleep, you tend to roll over on your arm and cut off circulation.

One thought is the thoracic outlet syndrome. Near your cervical spine is a triangle formed by the anteriror, medial and posterior scalenes (muscles). This triangle sees the cervical nerves and accopanying arteries (which travel in pairs) exit through it as they travel down into the arm. Our nerves and arteries are as susceptible to pressures as any other pencil necked geek's would be. As the traps and deltoids and other muscles get larger and pumped the triangle has a tendency to become smaller. The problem is more circulatory than nerve related. Pressure on a nerve root genarally will give symptoms of aching, burning and weakness. An Chiropractic adjustment may help as well as massage to that area. Check you pillow size and make sure you are sleeping with your head in a nuetral position so that your neck is not under stress for hours at a time. Off the back of your head and under your neck and shoulders is best for your neck. Slightly extended is better than flexion.

Umm...That's what I was going to say.
