i know it varies based on the individual but how protein much (on average) can the body absorb at each meal-----what do you think is a good amount of time between meals---2-3 hours?======thanks.......

i have heard that your body cant digest more than 30 to 40 grams per serving....but if that was the case then how in the hell could your body take in 300 to 500 grams a day...i take at least 50 to 60 grams every meal....then about the same for protein drinks in between...it seems to work...

thats pretty much the same road i take----i throw in 1 or 2 protein bars as well...

Jay Cutler intakes over 100 grams every meal. I think an average male can intake between 60 to 75 grams.

There is not set rule or limit that says your body can only utilise 30-40 grams of protein in any one sitting. There are many variables that need to be taken into account including time of day, how much protein you require (remember your body has many other priorities when requiring protein that to simply build muscle tissue), whether you have trained or not, your metabolism and so on. I use 100-150 grams of protein within half an hour after workout, 75grams on average in the morning because you have not fed your body protein for the duration of your sleep and an average of 40-50grams / meal. Now no one can say my body doesnt need that much except me.
