I've read that it's possible to send a sample of an AS to a lab and have them analyze it for composition and purity.

Does anyone know how to go about finding such a lab, and approximately how much it costs for an analysis?

Well, for one, if you were to call a university to test some shit be prepared to answer a thousand and one questions on how you obtained them, where they came from, why you want them tested, etc. Send me an email, I'll hook you up. It will cost you some cash though, not for me but for the test.
