hey bro's it has been while since i have gotten to post since i changed jobs and i am in need of some help and you are the bro's that can give it....my problem is this i currently am working four ten hour plus shifts a week where i sit on my ass all day and the times have limited my gym time to only morning workouts and i think i have made a slight error in thought process for trying to lose some weight.....i know that the best time to do cardio is in the morning on an empty stomach for weight loss and with that part i am fine but i also thought that i could then lift as well on an empty stomach as well after just getting up to help my weight loss and now i think i made a mistake...my stats prior to cardio were this 225lbs at about 14% body fat and now i am 210 lbs at and i am guessing 12% body fat but it is misleading and i will explain why, while my upper body is looking more cut (especially arms) my waist looks to be getting worse and i mean i have that spare tire look in the waist and it is bothering me big time.....i am now doing cardio 3 times a week for 20 mins and i have been actually putting a grabage bag around my waist under my sweat shirt in hopes of losing more weight here.....i do the cardio directly after i lift then i go home and begin my daily eating schedule which is super clean eating carbs until say 7 o clock then just protein there after....i am beginning a cut cycle on monday which is with fina/winny/proviron and i hope to get to 220 with 8% bodyfat but i need to lose some of this waist fat as i have a good v shape unitl you hit that problem area...so my question(s)is/are should i be eating something like say a banana to fuel my workout and then cardio and would bumping cardio up to 5 days be too much as i do not want to lose anymore size (i lost a half inch on my arm from 17in to 16.5 and while they look better with more of a peak i hate losing size on them)other then fat....well brothers that is it and i am sorry for the long post but this has gotten me a bit depressed cuz it sucks being able to flex the top portion of abs and then have a lil overhang below it ( ...perhaps i need a new job that doesnt require me to sit on my ass all day....any help you can provide would be great THANX!!! peace ps if you read this WCP hit me with an icq message, its been a while bro!!!!! | ||

If you are not eating prior to cardio and weight training, chances are you are going into a very catabloic state. Meaning you are burning as much muscle as fat. If I was in your shoes, I would atttempt to take in some protein prior to my workout. This would keep you out of a catabolic state, while keeping your glycogen levels low, so you will still burn a good amount of fat during your cardio sessions. | ||
