Great forum! I am a dummy and need help. I have not cycled on and off d-bol. Just on, but small amounts. I run and bike endurance events competitively. I have taken 5 mg d-bol twice a day for 2 years straight orally. I stopped taking it 2 months ago and began taking 25 mg test 2x a day as I wanted to lose weight for speed. I am extremely dizzy upon standing, am having night sweats and generally feeling like my adrenals are shot. I know I have screwed up but do not know how to fix my situation. I race in seven weeks and may be tested. How do I treat these symptoms.... and balance adrenal function and what is best supplement to take from here on for run/bike speed?

Thanks bros... HA!! I am a doc. We know less about this stuf than the average poster here on this forum!! My guess is that without clomid or other supps to jump start the nads and/or adrenals we can go into hypoadrenalism and get the dizzy/nightsweats symptoms. Is clomid or tribestan a must following a cycle or prolonged use? gomo

I'm unclear as to why you think your adrenals are involved. If it were you adrenals you would be incredibly energyless and tired. Dizzyness could be a lot of things including blood pressure. Night sweats could be some metabolic issues or problems. You took d-bol for 2 years straight, that wasn't too smart, bro. With all due respect, there's not many on this forum that would do something that dumb. High dose for short term is better than low dose for long term, especially with regard to shutting down your on natural production. You better take the advice you've already received and get a complete work-up, it's impossible to imagine what you've got. But I can tell you that I doubt anyone on here will be able to tell you "how to treat these symptoms." Sometimes the best medicine is to just let your body heal itself by not putting anything else into it. But from the sound of it, I don't think you're going to listen. Best of luck, bro.

There you have it folks, hes a doctor himself. All of a sudden I feel like einstein. Like they said, dont take anything else and wait for your system to stabilize. You might have to pop positive when you get tested. The only thing I could think to do is take clomid if you can get it. ------------------

SuperDave... never make the mistake of assuming doctors know shit about AS!! HA!! But that's why I am here..... to learn, and I'll help or carry my weight however I can in other ways. Thanks.

HCG works good for getting the system going again, and not just the testes--but your hormones too....works alot faster than clomid too... ..how long you been taking the test for(why 2x/day)...and it sounds like your not eating enough or your blood-sugar is to low; from the sides your describing.... ------------------

My gig is ultra endurance events. A race lasts 12 hours. I wanted to get stronger and more powerful. I am. I decided to drop 10-15 pounds to increase speed so I came off the small amounts of d-bol and started the test 2 months ago (50 mg a day)to help maintain some strength but lose size and weight.... 2x a day 'cos I didn't know better! I stated taking 1500mg of L-Tyrosine, multi vits, mega C, E, Linoleic acid, CoQ10, licorice root and eating more calories and the symptoms immediately lessened. I will burn 15,000 calories during an event. My understanding is that L-Tyrosine will help re-regulate norepinephrine etc. Can I take HCG orally?

Something to think about...licorice root is a very serious herb. It has in it a potentially dangerous substance called glycyrrhiza. This stuff increases blood pressure (significantly) and causes edema. It's a fact, look it up. It also has an effect on your adrenals. I read about this stuff in a med school text book on hypertension. The stuff is downright dangerous, bro. HTH

Licorice root IS a strong herb/medicine. I am taking it to stimulate the adrenals. My normal resting pulse is 38 and my "normal" Blood Pressure is 110/56. It has been this way for years as I do endurnace long distance training. Hypertension is not a concern at this time. Thank you for the warning though. I noticed hypertension is the concern of some on this page. They should note this effect of Licorice root.

Man, your normal resting pulse is 38 and your bp is 110/56? Hell, you'll live to be 150 with that. That's the healtiest shit I've *ever* heard. Adrenals get worn out from over work. Too many stimulants are the worst thing for the adrenals and the best thing for adrenals is most times to eliminate stimulants, especially caffeine. Good point my man.... I train 3 - 6 hours a day, seven days a week (weights, run, bike, swim). I am thinking the foolish non stop use of 10mg/day of d-bol, and ending it without clomid, too much coffee, little sleep and stress blew out the old adrenals. My reason for asking the question about the dizzyness here is that it started right when I quite the 10mg of d-bol a day. I have no idea how to cycle....or what kind of AS to take to remain "fast", add strength, but not size.... and what to take coming off that supp and how early I need to get off it to pass a test. What do NFL cornerbacks take? That's my size.

If I were you, I'd go with a good, comprehensive range of vitamin and minerals, especially C, but stay away from iron though. A good whey-based protein and a lot of it. Creatine, and ribose and some BCAA's would do you good also. While there are many, many more knowledgable bros on here than me, I'd tell you to take some deca and growth hormone. That's because it sounds like you punish your joints and body overall. I think that would help considering that. As far as duration and time off, you'll have to get that from the other bro's on here. But I'm sure it wouldn't be more than 8 to 10 weeks for a cycle. I think Arimidex is also worth mentioning as an anti-estrogen and also tribulus to keep your natural production up. I know HCG and nolvadex was mentioned, but I haven't used either of those. Anyone else help this bro out with cycle info? |
