The Iron God is a powerful force, that we as iron brothers well know.
Through all the pain and agony, still the seeds of growth we sow.
The training bell rings very loud, if only in our head,
We leave our familys, leave our friends and sometimes drag ourselves from bed.

We all know there is a demon out there of which we all fear
He does not choose to show his face, but all the time he is near.
This evil villian is a foe that we must keep at bay.
Doing this makes us what we are, and gets us through the day.

What is this demon, where is he, many of you will ask
But skip a day, make an excuse, and avoid your workout task.
It�s only legs and I�ll make it up, many people have moaned
But this is how he gets to you, and singles you out alone.

Before you know what�s happening you�ve missed an entire week
And that much farther from reality, are the goals you seek
Motivation comes in many forms, and whatever yours may be
Keep it near, hold on tight and do not let it free.

We all struggle through days, when we feel we can�t lift a single ounce
But we go and do it anyway, and the demon he cannot pounce.
Diet and workout routines and supplements are a mighty force
But motivation is the key that keeps us on our course.

So the next time you are tired or a partner cannot be found
Don�t bother to turn on all the lights, or listen for his sound
Just heed the words that I had said
The demon will not be seen or heard, he is already in your head.
