In this thread (which was rightfully locked): https://www.elitefitness.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/056380.html You said I lied about the hackers; that I was "dead wrong." Why do you talk about something you know NOTHING about. I don't want to turn this into a flame thread - but to set the record straight: IF I EVER THINK I KNOW SOMETHING I SAY "I THINK" or "IMHO" - why don't you try that next time you 'think' your right but are 100% wrong. If you want some fucken proof e-mail me, BUT PLEASE STOP ACTING CONFIDENT ABOUT SOMETHING YOU KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT. It happens (the hacking), I know it for a fact - what is your proof it doesn't happen? You think this board is highly secure?? please my man - Im not trying to argue with you b/c truthfully there is nothing to argue, but do the board a favor and when you aren't 100% sure of what you say either don't say it or use the magical words above. Well, I remeber a few months ago, when we had some hacker threats made towards EF. Then then next thing we knew a shit load of post gets deleted, EF gets hacked into, majority of us lost our names,passwords,#of post,ect... Hacking into a board like this is not impossible, and finding out a MODS password(by hacking into the system) also wouldn't be impossible. I personally think a lot of problems are do to security. But I will not rule out any other theories. | ||

Slopain I said you were "dead wrong" not that you where lying. I WOULD NEVER ACCUSE ANYBODY OF LYING WITHOUT PROOF. And why even post this? And whats with the hostility? I swear people are getting more and more tense around here. Godspeed | ||

Fonz absolutely no hostility towards YOU, its toward mis-information. Previously you (and many others) have given out false (or at least questionable) information and passed it on as fact. MACRO, its just there are a specific number of outlets from where Elite can be hacked into. Elite has been hacked so many times that I'm willing to bet they are covered. IF EF IS USING LAME PROXY SOFTWARE, THEN ITS MORE THAN POSSIBLE FOR SOMEONE TO CRACK THIER LAN. ANOTHER POSSIBILITY IS AN FTP PORT, OR SOME OTHER HOLE. WHAT MAKES YOU GUYS THINK GEORGE HAS THIS AWESOME PROXY THAT NO ONE CAN CRACK? BIGGER FISH HAVE BEEN FRIED. ------------------ |
