Shattered my patella (knee cap) 11 weeks ago. Prior to injury I was 195lbs 7%bf 6' off juice. Had surgery and got knee cap wired together (was fractured in 8 pieces). It's been 10 weeks since surgery, my friggin knee bends at only 80 degrees (135 deg is normal). It should be just past 90 by now. I have to go for a manipulation (I get put to sleep again and the docs crack through the scar tissue and adhesions by forcing my knee to bend). This'll happen in about 2 weeks from today. We are hoping that this will get my knee bending and physio will be a lot easier. I honestly can't wait as suicidal as it sounds. I've had enough of this crutches and caine shit. Considering I haven't trained in at least 12 weeks I lost quite a bit. I have started some basic upper body training with an Olympic strength coach (into it for the 4th week now) and my body weight is at 180lbs with a little extra bf. Have six pack still with a layer of what seems like thick skin, and just a litte bit of love handles. I am thinking of doing some Deca 400mg/week for 12 weeks and Dbol 3 5mg tabs/day for 5 weeks. Along with all the extras like Proviron, Hcg, Clomid, Nolvadex if needed. I will wait until I recover from the manipulation first obviously, which should be early April. If all goes well with this cycle considering I won't be able to train my legs nearly close to how I used to train them (not really expecting to train them this early anyway) I have a cycle waiting that's a little harder than my so called "therapeutic one". It consists of 8wks of 500mg/wk of Sostenon, half way through that start 10wks of 300mg/wk of Primobolan and half way through that do some Winny, of course with the extras as required. I will take a month off between the 2 cycles. I know it kinda sucks that I'll be starting my good cycle nearly the end of summer - but what can ya do? As for juice experience goes I have done it once a year for 3 years average cycle lasting about 12 - 14 weeks. Any expert or experienced advice is immensly appreciated. (Ex. similar situations, cycle advice, gains expected, recovery... ya'll get the picture). Sorry for the long post, I hate typing too, but I need your help - help a bro out. Thanks

I sell hips, knees and spine implants and see knee surgery everyday. Depending upon your age (I assume your in your 20's) it will take 6-months to a year for your patella to heal and recover.
You can still work out. But. You need to identify a way to brace that knee, either with a don-joy sports barce or wrap it-this is for training. The physical therapist you see should be able to give you some straight answers they see that type of injury every day.

My knee cap has healed now completely, I got the ok to weight bearing (walking on it) 2 weeks ago. It's the bending that's the big issue. I can barely go up a stircase 'cause it won't bend. I don't know how much a brace would help a knee cap, maybe for someone who tore their ACL(ligament). I had already mentioned this to my physiotherapist. Hopefully the manipulation will put me on a faster recovery. I figure the sooner it can bend full range the sooner I can start training it again. Thanks for your advice
