at22% u will be competeing at 180- 185lbs or so so u need to get ur ketosis strips and monitor ur carb in take which is the best way to get ripped! dont lower calories too much just up ur training intensity to glycogen deplete(ketosis) and come in ripped!!
use hgh and clen together with t3 and primo to get down with test being the base for ur cycle! take the halo for ur strenth and to harden up but it isnt a must do!

Hey , Wildage99 , Is this show in Canada?

With just over two months left I would start dieting serious now.

You may need to add some cardio.

It really all depends on how long you want to cycle. If you go twelve weeks you could use the t200. If you go 8, wouldnt use it? Where is your show?

You have lots and lots and lots of work to do!

I have a show on the same day and I
have a ton of work to do and I am now about 10.77% bodyfat right now and way behind schedule.

Realisticly I would choose a later show and take more time to get ripped. There is only about 10 weeks left.

You would have to get to about 194lbs to be at 3% if you don't lose any mass at all.

Then when you dry out with a diuretic you lose another 4% bodyweight so you compete at about 186lbs.

So you need to drop 47lbs of FAT

That is 164 500 calories in 70 days...

Can you handle a deficit of 2350cals per day for 70 days?

If you can go for it.

Most don't like more than a 1000calorie deficit per day.

Don't diss me Ronin

I am 10% because 16 weeks out I was 14%

Now I am in serious dieting and cardio. I am aiming to be under 8% in 16 days then I will slow fat loss a little.

I want to lose lots of fat now and then ease into the contest.

Here is what I am aiming for...

Week..Bodyfat Goal
10....10.45%
9.....9.21%
8.....7.97%
7.....7.14%
6.....6.31%
5.....5.48%
4.....4.65%
3.....4.24%
2.....3.83%
1.....3.42%
0.....3.00% ---- Show Day!!!

My bodyfat is taken weekly by my training partner using a caliper. We measure each site 3 times and take the median number. We use the 7 site method.

No dis intended Drexx,

Sounds like a good plan. I'm basically approaching it the same way but I'm starting to find this whole contest prep tough. It is far from over and already it is becoming difficult. But don't worry I'm going to pull through.

Good luck to you Drexx.

RoNiN you will kick ass you only have 3-4% bodyfat to lose and 10 weeks left to do it

I on the other hand need to lose 6.5-7.5% that will be very very though. But I have to do it and I will!

PA on my last thread about contest prep I asked you a question but then my thread disapeared so I didn't see the reply...

Why would clomid make me hold water?

For me it as always done just the opposite, please elaborate.

Thanks Bro!

since clomid acts weakly upon estrogen receptors, this may make you retain some unnecessary water. this is just a theory...not fact. my philosophy during precontest is to eliminate ALL potential sources of water retention at 6 weeks out, and to get stricter from there. this ensures you that dry and crisp look that some guys never seem to acheive (ie Edgar Fletcher)

if you or anyone else has any more questions on this topic, just post them under this topic....i would love to answer them

Yeah but isn't Clomid supposed to bind to the Estrogen Receptor (proventing estrogen from binding to it) but not activate it?

That is why we use it right? So it can block the ER and protect us agains't Estrogen.

Do you notice water retention while on clomid?

I notice I lose water when I start clomid, nolva or T3. Maybe I am just strange.

go with nolvadex 50 mg/day starting 3 weeks before the show....use it concurrently with arimidex, winny, tren, etc (you know what to use), and watch your water retention go to absolute ZERO. (i'd advise against habitually using arimidex and nolva concurrently....but we're trying to completely nullify the cosmetic effects of estrogen in a precontest bodybuilder)

don't use both nolva and clomid for the same effect, you'd just be wasting the clomid, since nolva is more than 5 times more effective than clomid per mg for use as an antiestrogen, namely as an ER blocking agent

then again, as the old saying goes, if it works for me, it may not work for you....do what works! and don't be afraid to experiment with more theories as you train for your show....just be sure that everything is kept in check, overall.

post more questions! i'll answer then after working out....gym time here! (wired on adipokinetics and ref-B)

I will be using nolva, winny and tren but no arimidex because I am poor

Anyone want to donate a bunch of Arimidex for the old DREXXER..

Sodium will be under 1000mg for 2-3 days before the show including show day. Potassium will be 2000-3000mg per day during this time.

"nolva is more than 5 times more effective than clomid per mg for use as an antiestrogen, namely as an ER blocking agent"

Very interesting. I like nolva much better than clomid as an anti-e but didn't think it was 5 times more effective.

Where did you see this?

well, i don't have "proof"....but if you look at it purely as a prescription drug, nolvadex is indicated in the treatment of breast carcinomas in positive monoclonal 1D5 lab results (i know this shit cause i work in a pathology lab). nolvadex is the single most widely used prescription drug to combat ER mediated carcinomas. basically, it's the most powerful pure ER antagonist available today.

clomid, on the other hand, encourages the release of lutenizing hormone through LHRH and eventual high level production of sex hormones in men and women. prescription-wise, this drug is an ovulatory stimulant and is often prescribed for women who desire pregnancy

basically, clomid is not designed for use as an antiestrogen, and nolvadex is. hope i cleared some stuff up about this.

Yeah you did!

That's right clomid stimulates ovulation in woman. I forgot about that.

How does it do this?

Does it increase progesterone?
