How do you develop the area between your upper chest and your shoulders>???any idea's. I heard upright rows work for that but they fuck up your shoulder joints by rotating your shoulder in a way that they are supposed to be rotated. any other suggestion?

A steep incline bench works good for me.

Yes it does work your shoulder but for me it also hits my upper chest, and the area between chest and shoulders.
Also a lot as to do with genetics.

Do mean the front delts? The small muscle that extends from the end of your collar bone to/near the top of the bicep?

Like bsjohnson said, steep inclines work well. I also like front shoulder presses, works for me but not my training partner. To truly isolate and finish it off, I grab a 45, hold it by it's sides and raise it with my arms extended in front of me until it's past eye level and then lower it very slowly. Also, leaning against a wall makes it even harder. Hope this helps...

on skiplacours website (http://www.skiplacour.com/routines.htm), he says that dumbell pullovers can work the upper chest if you try to focus on them instead of the lats. I have done this exercise a few times for lats, and my upper chest also gets soar. It is worth a shot, but an Inclined press should work well, not 90 degrees, and not a normal incline bench, but a good medium.

If you do pullovers with straight ish arms, that puts more emphasis on your chest, then on your lats.
