DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT BRO! MAKE SURE YOU GET IN AT LEAST 4500-5000 CLEAN CALS WITH AT LEAST 2 GRAMS OF PROTEIN PER POUND OF BODY WEIGHT. EAT FOODS LIKE PASTA, CHICKEN, TUNA, FISH, TURKEY, POTATOES, BROWN AND WHITE RICE, PEANUT BUTTER, BANANAS, OATMEAL, CHEESE, MILK, PROTEIN SHAKES. TRAIN HARD AND READ THIS BOARD AND YOU WILL LEARN A LOT. I WOULD HOLD OFF TRYING GEAR FOR NOW UNTIL YOU HAVE DONE ALOT OF RESEARCH AND KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. YOU CAN E-MAIL ME ANYTIME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS AND I WILL DO MY BEST TO HELP YOU OUT. GOOD LUCK BRO

Thanks for the replies... I try not to get discouraged... I realize that everyone has to start somewhere. For now, though, I am going to bulk up natural and then when it gets tough to get any bigger, that's when I might try "chemical wizardry", persay . I really appreciate the replies and I have already learned so much from lurking around the board for quite some time now...

In a nutshell... my diet consist of 'mo protein and a good bit of carbs at the moment as I am going for bulk right now.

Also, has anyone else experienced the fact that it is much harder to look wider and bulkier when being so tall? Also, you seem to get a lot of lip from the shorter yet larger members of the gym... I can't help that I'm tall, ya know? But hopefully with some hard work, dedication, and hella help from all the KICK ASS MEMBERS OF THIS BOARD, things will come thru... and oh yes, I will keep everyone posted of the gains!

When I started, I weighed 145 at 5'10". I weighed 218 this morning. After about four years natural I hit 175. I just started using "assistance" this last summer, and am very happy with the results. Keep eating, SLEEPING!!!!!, and training. Listen to your body. You'll grow, we all do, some just better than others.

Anybody who looks down on a newbie just breaking in is not worth knowing. Everybody had to start sometime. Anyone who knows their shit would rather see you benching 165 8 times correctly than trying 225 3 times wobbling like a mofo. Lift hard and enjoy some quick gains... and always remember where you were at so you don't become one of the people you despise.

I would love to get up to par with you guys and be a mentor to those who will be where I am right now! I just wish someone at my gym was, well, NOT a cocksmoke.
Thanks for the encouragement bros...

Dude, you'd be better than average in my
gym. Most of the yahoos in my gym come in
with their girlfriends and practically use
the same weight.

Don't focus on the weight. If you can
work out 4 days a week every week for the
next two years you will be shocked at the
progress you make. Most people kill
themselves for 1 month, screw around for
another month then never go back.
Persistance is the key. Don't worry about
the right exercise or the right supplement
or the right drug unless you have that
nailed down.
