alright dudes, i am confused. how shall i drop my water intake? 24 hours before show, or gradually over 5 days? when shall i start the carb-up?

Drop your water intake about a week before your show to about half a gallon or less a day, as little as possible. About two days before the show drink all the water you want. The slower your metablism is the less time you want to spend filling up. Whats going to happen is your muscles are going to be dehydrated and craving water, so when you finally give it to them they'll get huge. If you sacturate them for more then a couple of days then the water basically overflow the muscle and be trapped in the skin, this will make you look bloted. Hope this helps. | ||

Gradually drop your water over about 4 or 5 days until you're taking sips only the night before. I've still been experimenting with the carb loading but last time i tried upping them wednesday before the show. Some guys have told me to have a big pancake breakfast the morning of the show. I never tried it, but maybe there's something to it. good luck. | ||

Ok Right now your water intake and salt intake should be moderate. You should be on 50carbs or less for this whole week. The day before your contest drop all salt and water intake. The day of your comp (still no water or salt) you will want to carb load with little water intake just enough to wet your mouth. To carb load you will want to buy some baby food eat a jar or so right before the contest. Make sure your tanning is perfect. You will do good just follow | ||

It works great for me, I can start drinking lots of water about 2 1/2 to 2 days from competition. My friend on the other hand will look blotted unless he waits until the day before. | ||

i carb depleated 48 hr befor my show. then I ate rice cakes, jam, and oatmeal for teh next 2 days (0 sodium intake). about 1 hr befor the show, i took some glyersol, creatine, and red wine. 6-8 hours befor i took my diertuic. All went good
