I'm considering ordering some gear from an online company. They don't openly advertise, though you can find them in a web search engine. They say their stuff can get past customs most of the time, but I'm having some doubts. Should I be worrying? And no, it isn't coming from Thailand     | ||

Sure, the are lots of online businesses (not just individuals) offering stuff. They have headquarters in Europe or Mexico. I did get some stuff once from one outfit. Tried again recently. Six weeks and I am still waiting. They say it can be up to NINE weeks, tho they didn't say that when I placed the damn order! Anyway, I am losing hope of ever seeing that stuff. There is no sure way. I asked few mods and they never heard of the companies. One even said that it will probably be flagged by customs. Anyway, I know of a few people who ordered from where I may and said their order got through. They also said thier stuff is legit. The company claims to have special ways of packaging and sending so it gets through. I guess I'll not know unless I try. I really don't know anyone personally, at gym, friends, contacts who I can get stuff from. It';s not like I'm gonna walk up to some huge dude at the gym and say "can you get me some gear?" hehe | ||

damn brahmabull, 6 weeks?!?!?!?! Company i deal with xclaims to ship it out within 24 hours of getting payment (Which you also do online), then you get it 3-5 days thereafter | ||

if i have a positive experience i'll let people know. Obviously i'm not gonna publicly show company's internet addy, concerned about "big brother" watching, so don't anyone ask for it. only if things work out and i trust people 100%, may i email info to people | ||

Most bonifide companies that offer products online will not violate the laws of your country. The other companies, for the most part, are not reputable and you may or may not receive products from them. Your best bet is to find a mentor who has been in this game for a while and learn from him. Don't email anyone asking for a source, but if you are deemed sincere, most people after getting to know you would be glad to help you out with a source. Disclosing a domestic source is another issue. These guys could go down much easier and much more scrutiny is placed on who to give out their domestic source to. But, most importantly, email a mod and make sure the guy isn't on a scammer list. There are good sources going bad all the time (and getting busted) and the vet that gave you the source may not know about it yet.
