Whats up

I have just started a Deca cycle 200mg-300mg a week nothing strong, for 8 weeks. I always did freeweghts on past cycles and had great results but i have been doing more machines for shape wich have worked great. But you know the old saying freeweight for size machines for spahe and cuts.. Would a mix be the best

Thanks for the input

There are so many studies on free weights VS. machines. I have yet to see coclusive results the free weights are far better. I use a mix of both. Shock your muscle, change workouts, try new exercises, etc.

I say freeweights for all pushing
exercises all of the time. Pushing
exercises require more coordination and
force tons of little muscles you didn't
even know you had to work in unison.

Pulling exercises are self stabilizing so
in my opinion, there is no down side for
using machines. They load and unload
easier and they force you to use good form.

Also, if any freeweight exercise ever
causes pain in the wrong muscle (eg
sometimes barbell curls kill my deltoids)
I switch to a machine.

Others may differ in opinion, but I'm not
convinced that compound exercises are mass
builders and isolation exercises are for
detailing. I think this is a myth created
by observing the physiques of powerlifters
and bodybuilders and comparing their
respective routines. I, therefore, don't
think it makes sense to extend this logic
to mean "compound exercises during mass
cycles" and "isolation exercises during
cutting cycles."

I think the only generalization you can make
is "compound exercises for working lots of
muscles at the same time" and "isolation
exercises for working one muscle at a time"

Someone was saying to stick with freeweights for 3 sets of each exercise then fish of with a set or 2 of a machine
