I'm in about the 7th week of my test/dbol cycle and for the last 2 or so weeks my joints have been killing me. Regardless of the lift I do I just ache, joints, tendons you name it. Its hurting my workouts and it is making me lose my motivation cause I'd rather not go in and have to hurt everytime I lift.

I've been thinking that the possibilities could include suppress cortisol levels, extra weight and water retention.

What do you guys think? Has anyone ever experienced this?

The water retention should not cause you any grief, in fact, increased water retention should help your joints.

My guess is that it's the heavy weight and/or increased intensity of your lifts that's causing the extra stress on your joints and tendons.

Just my opinion though.
Good luck!

Clemdog,

I am pretty far into my sust/eq cycle and my joints ache, too. Mostly my knees but my shoulders ache some. Sometimes it feels like I can hardly walk.

This is mostly due to the more intense/longer duration workouts but you mentioned that your workouts haven't gotten any more intense. Not sure what is causing your soreness.

I've had achy joints on test even when I stacked it with deca. I also thought that increased intensity and suppressed cortisol levels had something to do with it.

It is from the weight increase coming on too fast. Your joints cant take the weight and its too much pressure. Trust me I have the same problem and my doc told me that its from it. + My doc isnt any ordinary doc, he treats very famous athletic well known people which I am not gonna name.
