This is my point exactly. To many people here see black and white, bulk or cut. I see shades of grey. I take every cycle and think what do I want. I want quality muscle and to make my body look better. I eat for quality, I train for quality. I eat clean, train hard, and do cardio with every cycle. I gain fat to fast. Quality is what i'm after. ------------------ "Catch a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime."

First of all i take that u donjt know that carbs protein and fat contain cals. When bulkingyou need more protein and carbs. carbs give the full look fuel, workouts, aid recovery etc. for u to grow you need to take in plenty of cal now if you are saying that 10000 cals for most of us is too much but do alittle research bro.im 5'8 260 and i take in roughly 4000 a day

Ok, to get big, not big and fat, we need to eat more, that means an increase in calories, but were talking good calories, not a box of ding dongs loaded with fat calories. You need a balanced intake of calories coming mostly from Protein and complex carbs, and some fat is actually good. Each person is going to vary from what they need to increase to get big, some people may need more calories than others, this is the hard part, finding exactly what works for you, to get big and lean at the same time.

There is absolutely no way around this one fact. If you want to gain mass you must consume more calories than you use. Simple as that. That means an increase in calories. Going overboard on that increase will mean the accumulation of adipose tissue, but in order to add muscle mass you need the resources to build it. That means you must provide your body with all that it needs to fully recuiperate and then grow new muscle. This process takes a surplus of calories. Another fact of the matter is many people associate the water retention and bloat accompanied by higher calories with fat. Water under the skin looks no different than fat. High calories and especially carbs causes the body to retain extra fluid. In order to MAXIMIZE growth and expidite the process you need to eat more than you use. You can be patient and wait years, and years, and years by eating just a tad over maintnance and slowly let the new mass accumulate, or you can fuel that growth with the optimal amounts of nutrients to INDUCE growth. If you know your body, how much and what it needs, and eat the right foods and the right times in the right amounts you won't get fat...But you will grow. |
