I am pretty knowledgable about diet, but want some imput. I am 5'10" 228lbs about 15% bodyfat. I just began a Cyp and EQ cycle 400mg of each weekly. I am trying to do the unthinkable Gain some muscle and get below 10% bf. I know exactly what I eat and at what times. I eat very clean and know when to eat my simple and complex carbs. I gain strength and muscle very easily and have never consumed as many calories as I am right now. This EQ helps. I am worried about gaining fat, but the thought of going under 220lbs for me is scary. I am eating about 4,200 cals a day with 400-450g of protein. Split up over 7-8 meals. Any imput whether on the AS or Diet would be great. Do you think I am consuming too much calories?

Beezer, That is the problem. I can change the AS to just about anything, but I still want to put on some quality muscle before I lean out all the way. I was thinking 4-5 weeks on higher Cals than drop the cals and lean out for eight weeks. I used D's in January-Fed for 5 weeks. I have been off since the second week in feb. I wouldn't mind doing them again for 4 weeks, but I am not sure how good that would be on my liver and for results. Let me know what you think about the dosages of EQ/Cyp and what do you think about the D's. Also is 4500 Cals too much to lean out at my size.

This may all be ambiguous, but I am always trying to get bigger and harder. I hate to go over 15% bodyfat because I have a hard time getting real lean. Just hoping for a little feedback. Maybe I should up the doses to 600 each.

cals should be a touch lower to tighten up but your weight will drop. i say screw the scale let the mirror tell you whats up. diet #s sound resonable but what are they derived from? stay away from estrogen/carbs ie, pasta bread stick to lower glycmex carbs ie yams, oatmeal, brown rice

That is a good point. I need to stay off the scale. You hit the nail on the head. I am obsessed with the scale right now, but I am seeing new veins and feel alot better (leaner) Thanks for the feedback. I may drop the cals a bit.

It sounds like you need to decide what it is you want to accomplish...Bulk...Cut. I am a firm beleiver that you have to do one or the other. You must fully dedicate yourself to either cutting or bulking...Otherwise you will be left in the middle which is exactly where you're at now. If you're going to cut then your cals are too high. My general guideline for cutting calories is bodyweight X 15. Cyp/EQ is great for cutting...You'll just have to shed some water at the end. No biggie. If you want more mass the you have to eat accordingly. You need the meaterials to build that mass. And ease of the cardio a bit...Seven days a week. Take a breath bro. That's overtraining, counter productive. If you feel you have good mass then dedicate yourself to cuting up to show it off. If you feel you need more mass for those cuts to be truely impressive, then add more mass...but that will mean you will have to forget about loosing significant amounts of bodyfat. My best advice is to pick ONE goal and tailor your diet for that goal. Don't run in circles trying to get ripped and get massive. |
