Stats 6'4" 280 about 13% bf.
I am currently taking 450mg a week of EQ. I am also at the 125mcg a day of t3. Next week I start Winstrol(jurox) at 150 eod for 6 weeks. My calorie level is about 3000-3200 a day 7 days a week. I am doing 25 minutes of medium intensity of cardio 5 days a week in the morning on an empty stomach. I was wondering when I start the winny next week could I lower my calories to shed more body fat? I was thinking somewhere around 2700 or so. Any input would be appreciated.

Winstrol will hold the muscle if you do drop your calories, but for your size I wouldn't go below 3,000 calories. You should drop the BF at that level anyway. This is my opinion.

Not a guru by far, but the BMR for your stats with no activity at all is 2774 calories per day. With the liftinig & cardio your in the ballpark of 4170 per day if you lift (I assume your still lifting?)& do the medium cardio the same day. I'd say going below or staying at 3000 it to low unless your preparing for a show. The EQ,Winny & T3 need protein to do their thing and at 4 calories per gram thats a over a third of your calories (1120)if your getting 1 gram per lb of body weight, double that with the carbs (complex of course) and your over 3000 already without a small % of fat added. With your stats & clean eating your should easily drop to single digit body fat at 3500 per day. My 2 cents.

Beezers - I am trying to get to about 8% without losing much muscle. It is kinda hard for me to lose bf. What would you suggest?

It appears you are doing everything right warrior. Make sure your Carbs are coming from complex sources with the exception of a post work out meal. Keep up the Cardio, Stay in the 3000-3500 cal range and be patient. I have similar genetics I think and I am loosing fat on 4000 calories and weigh about 230lbs at 5'10" and 15%bf. Slow metabolism though.

The calories look good around 3000. Make sure you are eating whole foods (not processed), avoid dairy anything, and avoid sugars and saturated fats like the plague. Just keep that up for around 10 weeks or so. Without the T3, you would want to throw in a cheat day once a week to keep your metabolism going.

Finally!! Someone who doesnt want to try one of those STUPID CKD's!

Nutrition wise, It makes very good sence to stay aways from simple sugars and consumre whole foods as their micormutrient profile is much more dense. Calorically however, it doesnt make a difference at all whether you get your carbs from skittles or brown rice.

All the research I have done has led me to believe that high insulin levels from simple carbs is not that big of a factor on reduced calories. It seems that the whole "insulin storing fat" thing is mostly associated with eating excess calories.

Something elso to consider is the thermic effect of food. Protein digestion and metabolism comsumes more energy with carbs second and fats a distant last. So a diet high in protein and carbs seems to take advantage of this.

great fucking post Andy....you and i think alike in a lot of ways here.

"T3....125 mcg."

that's a hell of a lot. i would suggest lowering the dosage to 75 and eat stricter. i can guarantee you'll be carrying more muscle with better quality on contest day (assuming you're doing one)

as for the calorie thing...don't worry too much about calories. eat enough protein and monitor the carbs big time. if you eat strictly, you can forget about calories, and adjust your daily intake to the way you look week to week in the mirror. you may want to look into carb cycling, as outlined in (don't laugh) Phillip's Body for Life book

I resent that. CKD's are far superior in terms of
minimizing muscle loss than ANY other diet.

fonz....show me what the pros eat to get ready for the Mr.O.....i guarantee you it's not a CKD

maybe it's the best diet for obese individuals, but from my experiences with this diet, it's not very effective with anyone under 15% bodyfat.

My plan is to keep dropping BF and have no scale change. This wasy I can step on stage at the top of the middle weight class.
My supplements are: 200mg EQ, 150mg winny &
300mg fina (dmso)total per week.. I holding all muscle just getting more cut each day.

started T3 in week 2
d-bol - 20 mg ed for the first 4 weeks
EQ - 450 wk for 12 weeks
Win - 150 eod for the last 6 weeks.

Have about 6 weeks left.

Very funny PA.LOL

No but seriously, what I meant is that the true
test of a diets effectiveness is its ability
to hold on to muscle mass/burn fat without the
addition of ANY supplements. And even
you will have to admit that the CKD diet
is unparalleled in its fat-burning/muscle-sparing
effects.

Godspeed

in certain individuals over a certain bodyfat %, i agree. mostly natural bodybuilders just starting into their precontest diets are the ones who like this type of dieting.....that's the group that CKD's work best for
