OK bros, as with Stew Meat, I also started PGF-2a, aka Lutalyse. The following is a logged account of my first three days using it. Bear in mind that this is purely subjective, but hopefully will provide more info for those interested in it. Also, it is very important to note that the message contained within is SUBJECTIVE. What I consider painful one may, or may not. Also, the things that happened to me (good or bad) may or may not happen for anyone else. The bottom line: start low and determine tolerance or potential reaction first, one simple test run can save you time, energy, money, and problems later. With that, I'll begin... Day One: First injection @ 1:30. No pain during injection at all, could not feel it going in. Did 25 iu in each bicep, where the peak normally is when flexed (injected with arm extended, no flex). Pain 2 minutes after initial injection, felt somewhat like a flu shot but very bearable, about a 2 on a scale of 1-10. No other sides. Pain subsided in 30 minutes. Inject 2, 6:30 p.m.: Inner bicep, right inside vein. Pain onset much quicker than first inject, and slightly worse (2.5), even at same dose. Pain lasted slightly longer as well, about 45 minutes. Inject 3, 10:30 p.m.: Chest workout at 9 p.m. (the only time my schedule would allow it during this hectic week)Did not have as strong of a night as usual, not sure if it was mental or a small side of the sore biceps, which slightly ached and felt "shaky" while I lifted, even though their recruitment is minimal. Pain onset after about 30 seconds, dull at first and then sharp very quickly, up to about a 3, or a post flu-shot soreness. Injected distal bicep, 2.5 inches from elbow joint. Subsided about 1 hour later. Day 2: Woke up 8 a.m., felt like I'd pushed the biceps through a pretty good workout. First inject, inner pecs about 1.5 inch above nipple midline, 30 iu's each. Pain slowly onset, but increased gradually to about a 4.5 after 5 minutes. Lasted about 1 hour. Second inject, 12:30 p.m.-33 iu's, two inches above each nipple. Pain onset within 1 minute, rapidly burning. Felt like a mildly pulled muscle, pain level 5. Third inject, 6:30 p.m., upper outer pecs, 33 iu's. Pain quite intense quickly, up to about a 5.5, maybe due to where the inject was. Also noticed some slight bruising of my biceps from last night. Pain lasted about 1.5 hours, and pecs ached most of evening. Fourth inject, 35 iu's inner lower pecs, even with nipples. Pain pretty bad, about a 7, perhaps due to residual swelling and any leftover PGF (most of it is cleaned out of your system very quickly, however). Felt like I had been punched repeatedly in the pecs, for about 15 minutes. Interestingly, the pain was kind of the "laugher" pain, like when you hit your funny bone. it hurt, but I was just kind of sitting there amazed it hurt as much as it did, and that I didn't mind, even though I was doubled over for about 3 minutes during the worst of it. Then dull ache until I fell asleep at 12:30. Day 3: Pecs still sore, but now just feel like I had a good workout. Inject 1, noon, 25 iu's each outer bicep. Pain level 3.5, onset about 4 minutes, subsided after 20. inject 2-5:45, inner lower bicep 25 iu's. Pain level constant, same as previous inject, but I'm not noticing it as much unless I think about it. biceps very sore, some trouble moving my arms much. Inject 3, 10:45 p.m. Pain level the same, onset in about 30 seconds, probably due to residual swelling. Lasted about 40 minutes, then rapidly went away. Only sides I felt beyond pain were some slight naseua. i slept great while using it, even though I took it 2 hours before bed evey night. My biceps are now 1/4 inch larger when flexed, e.g. the "peak" stands up higher. Not much noticeable difference in pec size. Took today off, will inject pecs 4 times 45 iu's each pec tommorrow. I also took the PGF about 15 minutes after eating a clean meal with some sugars each time, as increased insulin is supposed to enhance the effects. Felt mild abdominal cramping a few times after about my third injection day one until day three, but never had any diarrhea. Did take a crap after my two largest iu pec injections, but it wasn't bad and did not hurt or cause any major problems, and the onset wasn't so quick that I felt rushed to get to the john. I did take pepto before some injects, that may have helped slightly. I also avoided all painkillers, and Xenadrine, which contains the aspirin precursor salycin. Painkillers supposedly neutralize the effect of PGF. Hope this helps, and if anyone has any questions or comments, feel free to email or post here. Sorry this was so long. Take care bro's! | ||

BB, I am on sort of an "incorrect" cycle right now, as I am just trying to peak out gains before spring break. So right now I am only focusing on bi's and pecs. As far as tri's, I will try that after vacation, but must admit that is one body part I am leery of since I tend to feel more pain in that area (again, just me). I will also do delts, which I anticipate will be the easiest pain to bear, since a flu shot is not too bad for me and the pain is comparable. As far as regular schedule, it depends on how much you do and your personal preference. Some guys like the "pumped" feeling they get and will inject about 30 minutes or so before lifting. others inject 2-3 days before they train that bodypart. The general rule of thumb is not to inject the day before, during, or after you train, but again, it is all relative. As far as injecting then lifting the next day, I cannot honestly say, b/c I did'nt try it. However, like I said, for me the day after felt like I had had a good lift the day before. I personally would never inject a muscle group the day after I trained it, except in stupid circumstances like I'm in now and did actually do with my pecs (the pain was far worse than the bi's, either due to higher doses, post-workout soreness, or pain intolerance in that part of my body) Hope this helps.
