he's the head promoter of the southern cali NPC...i won one of his show's novice overall titles last year. i e-mailed him, asking him for results from last week's show, the Max Muscle Naturals. he then told me that he didn't know who won or anything, stating that it's not his job to report contest results. if he cared ONE BIT for his athletes, he would have treated me and my e-mail with a little more respect than that. i am never doing a show in so cali again....Brad Craig from the pacific northwest (NPC chair) is a much nicer guy and that's where i'll be doing my competing in the future. here's the e-mail: ____________________ Subj: Max Muscle Natural results? In defense of Jon- I talked to him on the phone a few years about what it would take to do a PL meet. (he used to host them in Oceanside on the boardwalk). Anyhow, that guy was more than helpful in my case. I must have talked to him for a half hour or so, if I remember correctly. He is just a promoter. Kind of like, "don't shoot the messenger", ya know? | ||

quote: he is just interested in making money. i guess he's just a typical businessman. well, i took his advice and e-mailed mike stolle, he's the emcee for most of lindsay's events. i have talked to him backstage before, and he's much easier to talk to. if i was in jon lindsay's position, i'd be thanking god everyday for being in a position so influencial in contemporary bodybuilding. i guess he got burned out a few years ago...his shows are usually run like shit anyways. This is kinda funny. I right-clicked to save-as the huge "Your Mom's Kneepads" gif, thought I had misclicked, and then successfully saved it. I minimize some windows, and then BAM! In huge black letters on my wallpaper is "YOUR MOM'S KNEEPADS". My misclick was actually me saving the gif as wallpaper. Sorry for off-topic...Thought it was funny. Cool gif too. |
