i had the same thing happen to me, but i tried to just tough it out. i taped my wrists and that seemed to help a little. if you find anything that works better then tell me about it.

maybe a decrease in weight for a bit would help releive the stress the bone has on it? just a thought, but i would hate to give up my heavy curls.

i get the same shit, it is like shinsplints, but i think its kinda more like arthritis.
take your palm across your fingers and stretch your hand back on each hand and do hammers and standing behind the back bb wrist curls after bi's, it seems to help me.

I'm having pains like you describe in the forearms but my elbows are hurting, If your arms are just now starting to hurt TAKE a BREAK from the straight bar curls and put ice on them several times aday,if your elbows are also hurting go lite on the tris.

I used to have the same thing and wondered WTF they were. I had a doctor tell one time that it could be similiar to shin splints. I just trained through it. I started taking osteo-biflex and it seemed to help. I would try it, I don't think it can hurt. Some of these new arthritis drugs may help, but I would check w/ a doctor on that.

That happened to me also. It was from doing standing curls and preacher curls.
Whe I let go of the bar it was pure agony.

the question i pose to you guys is "are you doing forearms" a lot of this could be caused from a muscular imbalance between the flexors and extensors in your fore arm. many times the flexors will over compinsate for weak extensors. try throwing in wrist ext. as heavy as you can go without pain. forearm splints real quick are basically the muscle ripping off the bone(not the whole muscle just individual fibers, and since the outer covering of the bone is rich in pain receptors this hurts like a bitch. you can try anti-inflam. or try ART(applied release technique). ART is performed by a chiropractor and essential gets your muscles back in working order. hope this helps

This happened to me a couple of years ago during a D-bol cycle...sucked ass. I had to stop lifting for 2 weeks, then I gradually started adding some lifts over about a month period being real careful on bicept and back days. Anyway, I don't have this problem anymore, so just give it a little rest.

This is most likely Tendonitis! I had it about a month ago and it hurt like a mother fucker! Had it in both forearms so bad I couldn't do shit. Best thing for it is rest, ice after workouts, and heat.

If you wanna keep it from coming back get yourself some Glucosamine Sulfate...also a little Deca helped me out and I'm fine now!

Peace
