I recently had a liver function test and my AST level was 52, and my ALT was a 56. These levels are what they call "sightly elevated" Does anyone know if this is cause for alarm, or how to get them down? I have been off for 6 weeks, take milk thistle, and cranberry extract ED while ON and OFF.

Don't worry, wait some time and take another blood test, you are going to see the levels are normal.

These levels are probably not cause for concern- mine were in that range and are now in the normal range-tomo

TOMO...How long did you wait to get your levels tested again? I get my Test. from my doc, and he will not give me any more until my levels are normal.
