I am planning on going down in the next week. If anyone is local, and interested, lets go. Of course, just to be a tourist and all. Visit the sites. Pick up some pet supplies at a Vet, maybe a bottle of Tequila, you know. We could even drop in on a few skank-ass strip clubs for a laugh. LOL | ||

You guys, goin down to Tj really isn't that hard or that big of a deal, I do it all the time. I don't think you need more than another person to go with you, but if you do end up goin down in a group, just be careful if you're walking back. A pack of swoll fuckers kinna has roids written all over it when crossing back. I say driving is easiest. You just cross in to mex, go straight to where it says "dowtown" go about 3 streets down once you get off the ramp, go right on revolution, and then an immediate right into that parking lot, park, walk right down revolution to next street and go right, then go 3 blocks and granero alazan will be on your right across from smart and final, get what you need and bounce.I'm not given away secrets here guys don't flame me. it's not hard to do | ||

Yes indeed! A cat and mouse game to say the least. I take HelmswomaN with me. It's perfect. Just a happy couple doing some shopping. In-and-out. Having lived down there, she knows her way around. We go in at San Yisidro and back through at Otay. I told a bro of mine how to go about it, drew him a map, told him where to go - and the fool still met La Policia in the main parking lot!!! Cost him an additional $150.... Be super careful dude. | ||

I'm 50 live in Newport Beach and go to Mexico any time I need gear. I have never been hassled by anyone, but usually skip Tj and just drive to ensenada, prices are better and fewer tourist. I respect the opinons on this board, expressed regarding strangers, however I would serously cosisder going with one or two other guys in Southern California. Additionally, I would love to see your map! I don't take my girlfriend, she is of the mindset that juice is the same as smack or crack. Nor would I go with my daughters 16,14, and 12 Just in case something did happen. Soldspine | ||

Oh the map was just a simple affair, showing how to get to Reveloution and where to park, etc. He was stashing his bag of goodies in the damn parking lot...which is patrolled! What an idiot.... I like taking HelmswomaN because we can put things in her purse, and don't have to walk around carrying a plastic full of gear. | ||
