I don�t mean to be a dick about the employee/emplorer thing - I am saying this as w fair warning. Trust me, the pics are not that much of an issue � unless someone actually sees them. (And frankly if you don�t have an enclosed office and are doing personal surfing � YOU are taking the risk.) Its not hard to have something on the server which parses for content, and keeps track of where you surf. Imagine an employer having a system set up ........ and tracking every place you go. It happens, much more than you think.

It�s bad enough to use a company computer for any personal reasons (and frankly, if there is an employee you want to toss ..... and are looking for an easy excuse, this is a great one) but to use one for something like this board ..... they have you in a bad position, and you can get in a lot of trouble, at any moment.

I have seen it happen ��. Someone gets called into an office ��. The door shuts. Someone says "you have gone to the yearly IS policy meetings, or have been given a copy of our Computer Use Policy". The employee says "Yes."

Then someone tosses a stack of paper in from of him/her, and says "Care to explain this? This is a record of every place your computer has surfed the net in the past 2 weeks. Can you show us what each of these sites has to do with your position here at the company?"

The guy sits there. Dumbfounded.

"In fact, we looked at some of these sites. It appears that you made statements or posted information from your computer. The content of some of these sites, not only is NOT work related, but it also borders on the discussion of illegal items. Would you care to explain this?"

"uh ���. Uh ��."

They got ya. And frankly, if they can you for it (fire you), you have little recourse. Trust me. And a fired employee is much less expensive to the company than one which is laid off.

So, using a company computer for personal stuff � NOT a good thing.

Using it for this and boards like it � and even worse decision.

Using one in an open office where people can see you? Extremely risky.

These are examples of bad judgement, and frankly I don�t think we should expect people in here to change their behavior all that much to accommodate bro�s who are just making bad choices.

Where I work we are allowed to surf as much as we want because I am a tech support.

When people need help I help. When people don't need help I don't have nothing to do but surf.

I have been on the boards for a while and they haven't ever said anything about AAS.

The only time I have gotten heat was about pictures of naked woman or fitness competitors almost naked.

Also I finished college 2-3 years back and remember someone being expelled from my class for watching porn from school.

#1 Why is he looking at this site in class? If he wants to do that shit fine, but why should BJ have to change HIS picture b/c people who SHOULD be working or learning are fuckin around on the internet.. Why should he bend over backwards b/c you people are fucking off at work/school? Do it at home or on your free time thats what the boards are for.

#2 What kind of class are you in? Do you all face the back of the room so the teacher can see your screens and not you? I have gone to fine universities in the so cal area, Its always the class facing the teacher so the teacher doesnt see the monitors. Do you knoe what kind of class the teacher can see the monitors? In grade school/maybe high school. Thats the last time I have seen it.

#3 Reality Check? Check yourselves you are the people waisting your boss's money (you know the guy that pays your bills, the guy you are supposed to be WORKING FOR while you are cheating him by using his equipment to fuck around) if your in school and doing it your cheating yourself.

I said that in jest but if you want to be REAL thats real, stop fuckin around when you should be learning or working or when your family doesnt approve of it. Gear isnt for kids, if your at home in the family room its either high time for you to get your own pad, or its time to let ma and pa know your cycling.

The ethical issue. You are paid to work. Not surf for cool stuff.

The technical issue. Many guys are not aware that their actions can be, and in many cases are, monitored.

The risk issues. If the compoany DOES (not all do, but most do) have a policy regarding such stuff, you can get canned for breaking that policy. Period. I jave seen it happen. And many propl think "that would never happen" BS! It DOES. AND if they think "I'll just sue" Forget it - you wont win. There was a policy, you broke it - you're gone.

And let me tell ya something. When you are fired, yoy get NO severance, and NO unemployement in most cases.
