Clomid is said to bind to estrogen receptors to stimulate test production. Test is stimulated with low levels of estrogen and low levels of androgens. It is said that mild dosages of Anavar does not stop natural test production becuase it does not convert to estrogen. Would it be realistic to do clomid the same time as anavar at the end of my cycle and still gain back my natural test? Or, would the anavar prevent my natural test from returning?     | ||

Referrences in Medline have shown that oxandrolone does not suppress the HPTA at any dose. So therefore you would do well to use it in your post cycle recovery/bridge. ------------------ | ||

Anavar can definitely suppress testosterone production in some people, including me. I did a 8 week cycle at 20-25mg per day and it dropped my total test from 700 to 40 and my free test to almost zero. If the studies you found in Medline were funded by a drug company, then they were probably a best case scenario with regards to the impact of oxandrolone. Obviously, a lot of people have found Anavar to be very effective without a significant reduction in their testosterone leves, but everone is an individual and we all have different body chemistry. |
