This will be my first cycle. 300mg/wk test cyp and 300mg/week EQ. I got two questions: 1) I have enough to go 10 weeks vs. 8 weeks. Pros and cons for a first cycyle? I'm 6'4", 175lbs @ 5% bodyfat. 2) As far as the EQ goes, I've seen post that say you should run it about 2 weeks longer than your test, true? Thanks for the info guys.

There are no cons about going 10 weeks. I think it is easier to retain gains with longer cycles. ------------------ "Catch a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime."

I like the idea of longer cycles too. I am currently planning a 12 week deca cycle. B True

lawnsaver, no flame here. Your reply struck up my curiosity. How do long cycles help one in retaining their gains? Again, no flame, just curious. ------------------ [This message has been edited by 'ORCHITIS' (edited March 12, 2001).]

Okay, if I go 10wks, should I hit the EQ for 12? Oh, and bump for 'ORCHITIS', I got the same question.

It is my belief, not fact, that one can become used to holding that weight better on a longer cycle. I am also taking into consideration that one would use lower doses...which may, in turn, totally null this belief. Use less, gain a little less, lose less. B True

quote: Let me ask you a question. If you were to gain 35lbs on a 6 week cycle of abombs and test, or gain 25lbs off a 10 week test/eq cycle, which one do you think you would hold a better % of your gains? My guess is the 2nd cycle. Why? For 1 the ingrediants are better for keeping gains in the 2nd cycle, second, the longer and slower those gains happen the better chance you body will want to accept them. If I was to take test and eq for 6 weeks I know I wont gain more then 10 or 12 lbs. I believe if your body goes through a drastic change in body composition in a short peroid of time, your body will want to reject those gains. This is just from my experience and others I g=have watched. Again there a exceptions to the rule, but for the most part, this is how it happens. ------------------ "Catch a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime."

Thanks lawnsaver. I see the logic in your post, and I must say that I agree. ------------------ |
