After a single dose of 850mg: 1. It has a maximum bio-availibility of 50-60%. 2. Food decreases its absorption and peak blood concentrations. 3. After oral ingestion, 90% of the absorbed drug is excreted via the renal route within 24 hours. 4. The plasma half-life of the drug is 6.2hours. 5. The actual half-life of metformin HCL in blood is 17.6hours. 6. There are no known metabolites. Hope this helps... Godspeed ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||
